I didn't like how they reversed the roles. In the books, it was Jace under Jonathan's dark influece and Clary risked her life savinf him and stabbing with the sword. I loved that in the books there wasn't the cliché "The boys saves the girl". In the series thay changed that and it's kinda lame

So is it just me or its really annoying how they changed this hole scene comparing it to the books, in the book "City of lost souls" Jace is the one that has a bond with Sebastian (Jonathan) not Clary and Clary is the one that does the sword thing to Jace not Jace to Clary (in from Ecuador so sorry for my English)

No offence, but this show is too fast paced. Sure there are moments when the characters are in mortal peril, but they always solve those dire problems very quickly without any kind of toil or hardship. It’s funny because none of the main characters have been killed or ideologically altered by the problems they faced. Clary, Simon and the others are static characters. In the books, it’s very fast paced, so much so that the characters don’t stop to figure the consequences of their actions or give thought to how their actions will affect others.

Wait a sec. I have never watched the show and it is disappointing to see that. it should be Jace not Clary.
