I have lived in Malaysia for 14 years now. As a foreigner I can never be considered permanent residence and I am not complaining. I do get my work permit renewed every two. years. I think many people are missing the point. Integration is necessary and none of the guests are challenging this. What they say is unfair is segregating people PURELY based on ethnicity. As the female guest said, you can be deemed non westerner even if you were born and raised in Denmark. How come a Danish born Danish still needs to integrate into the Danish society as if he or she was a migrant?
