Every one of these brilliant men and women developed something to save and improve life. I love history and especially enjoy history I haven't heard.

Still misleading. Many of these inventions were done in collaboration with other individuals. Yes, there was black involvement but it was a group/business effort. This misinformation does a HUGE injustice to blacks and Americans alike. Shirley Ann Jackson for example invented NOTHING this video states.

Why do we not hear about these people long before now. It's like they're being kept secret. We find out about them long after they're dead. I know I've lived during the same time as many of them. This could make a big difference in the lives of black children. Especially while they're alive.

Some of these are a bit questionable in accuracy. Kind of like saying that Edison invented the light bulb. There is a reason that most inventors and scientists are forgotten. Not a thing on this list is a new invention. All adaptations and new features. Dozens of these videos around. Good for you someone made something. Guess what? someone else made it better later, and someone else invented the concept and science, if not in fact the original technology. Why next someone will say that Mary Seacole was even relevant in comparison to Florence Nightingale.

This is like when Africans don't know what resources or what their resources are worth in their land. All this should be apart of black history, yet all we are only told about is slavery. Nothing about Piye, Taharqa, Nigerian Empire, Gannibal or African American investors etc....just slavery.

There is a substantial difference between an inventor and an innovator (and a PRODUCER of such a product). FYI, the first color monitor was produced by Apple in the late 1970s. Some of us have been around for a while to not be snowed by the assertions of this video. Also, the first personal computer was many years before IBM and the person mentioned in this video. My parents always told me about some of these inventions. There are some people who do not want blacks to have or get credit for anything. This is why we are never shown in any kind of positive way because a lot of racist want nothing but negative stereotypes to be seen and this is one problem because a lot of people believe what is told and a few shown to them. Lies and more lies and a few bad apples you see in the news. We were taught to never believe everything you hear because people like to lie instead of telling the truth. True history is so hidden , this is why some want us to forget our history because it tells and proves how much they have lied and covered up the truth. They don't tell anyone else to forget but blacks.....I wonder why? A smart person would already know the obvious and that is because they have some lies to explain away.
