wow.. what a scenery .. beutiful
ОтветитьGood to see you Kevin and Tonya again, in a new video. It always makes my day when I get a chance to drive along with you guys. Keep up the good videos and God bless you and your family.😊
ОтветитьNice bypass .. I've never taken that way before
ОтветитьI-20 to I-10...love traveling on those two roads
ОтветитьWhew...I thought what an area to have a breakdown. I read the thumbnail and thought you had engine problems, then realized you were talking about braking and not breaking. :)
Ответить50° Up in Dallas this morning. 👍👍
ОтветитьI have never taken that bypass. But it was always late at night or very early in the morning, always dark, when I went through El Paso. I used to stay there overnight at a hotel I really liked when I took a prolonged leave. Drive from San Diego To San Angelo TX or Longview TX. A two day drive. Going up that grade in NM will be fun.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Never been in East El Paso. When I was traveling to El Paso, there was no freeway. Thank for the arm chair vacation this morning. Enjoyed the video very much. Be safe and have a good day.😊😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьYou said that in wet situations you use that jake brake thing in 1st setting, because it might otherwise loose traction. But wouldn't it stop braking if it detects traction loss? I am asking because in our trucks we could fully engage "retarder" (very strong brake) in every condition, because it works with ABS and it will not lose traction.
ОтветитьWhen my hubby and I was driving they didn't have the bypass around El Paso
ОтветитьGreat video 🎉❤
ОтветитьFor every 1000 feet of climbed elevation there is a 3 degree drop in temperature from sea level.
ОтветитьI think that one of the safety features of a automated shift transmission is that there is no danger of missing a gear when downshifting going down a grade to keep the truck speed at a safe velocity. I've heard of truckers missing a gear when gearing down on a manual tranny and then cannot stop the truck to get into gear again going down the hill.
ОтветитьDrive safe
ОтветитьThanks for this. We travel through El Paso several times a year in our RV but have never taken the loop. Because of the grades we may continue to stay on 10.
ОтветитьBoy, ain't you special
ОтветитьYou described when to use a jake brake, but to somebody who has never been in a rig........they probably have on idea what it is, nor how it works..................nor what degree of jake you use under what grade/load conditions.....................
ОтветитьToo bad you took the loop,, if you would have stayed on I 10 I could have gotten video of you going past my house. Good luck to y’all and have a safe trip.
ОтветитьWhat made Kevin choose DryVan over flatbed ? Money wise
ОтветитьSo when are you driving through Wilcox, Az. Or did you on 10/16 and encounter the two wrecks one outside Wilcox the other outside Chandler? Both had interstate closed.
ОтветитьNice View
ОтветитьHow to use an engine brake????? DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьE said Drive Safe!!!! That says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThis should be titled how to not be a truckdriver
ОтветитьPringles are ok at altitude. Flying on a C-130 from RAF Woodbridge to Zaragoza Air Base, Spain we experienced a rapid decompression at around 30,000 feet. Everyone's potato chips bags exploded. My Pringles can held strong. It expanded in my hand then went back down. It was still sealed. I had chips to eat, not so for anyone else. 😂
ОтветитьGreatest channel on earth 🌎 n usa 🇺🇸 ❤❤
ОтветитьThat is so pretty absolutely love the scenery definitely miss being on the road
ОтветитьI have to share this. Today I took the wrong road in California. 8 miles of “oh crap
What have I gotten myself into” what’s even more funny is a Loves gas truck was right behind me. The road wasn’t restricted for trucks but trucks were not recommended.
Here’s the halfway point. (36.8328973, -121.5709369)
Plug that into google maps and let me know if you would attempt that with a semi!
Im just glad my truck and I are ok.
You had a few negative comments. Must have been a slow day for them. 😂
ОтветитьWow, when I was a kid I rode my bicycle from the middle of El Paso to that museum back in the 1970's. Glad to see it is still there!
ОтветитьWow i had no idea Texas got mountains, thought it was all flat. Thanks for taking me there.
