Is it normal to think Xrd is more beatiful than Strive?

if theres one thing i especially dislike in strive its the huge difference from "gameplay" to "cutscene". The characters look completely different sometimes.

Xrd clearly has more personality, but Strive's character design and graphics are just superb. Both are great games.

I got Rev 2 because it really interested me and it was on a mega sale awhile back for 6 dollars! After putting in about 200ish hours this game is in my favorite fighting games hall of fame, all of the characters are unique and well designed. This game also taught me techniques that I never even heard of before, and the music is top notch. Strive is okay for me personally, I’m not a fan of the new designs for the most part, (besides maybe May and Ky) I’m also not a fan of the realistic art style, I feel like they went too bold with it and I think they realized that later on considering the fact that their later games use a similar style to XRD.

Strive is good, not very bad, the previous one is better so far, so much waiting, so much expectation for NOTHING

Prefiro o Guilty Gear XRD, muito mais animação, o do Guilty Gear Strive é tão simples e menos emocionante nos especiais. O Guilty Gear XRD tem animações de tirar o fôlego.

Why do some characters in strive not look at opponent

GGS Faust is just faust straight out of med school

They really covered up the women, huh?

I prefer Potemkin's Xrd version since it gives a better close up at the opponent's face and their realization that "This is gonna hurt"

One thing that everyone seems to forget is HUD and font elements seems like everything that came out after 2021 seems to implement it in a boring way

Besides the OST, the thing that I like the most is that every character seems different. Most of the anime fighting games all the characters look and feel the same, not to mention the Dragonball game where half of the fighters are Goku with different hair

Didnt even felt like its a "powerful moves". Also strive got "slash" and "perfect", sound so lame. Blazblue got a lot better finisher also with "ASTRAL FINISH!!!!".

Where are their instant kill moves 😭😭

I like the characters were they emote first before doing the ysuper skill

On my opinion, guilty gear is like a version 2 of blazblue(an anime series and game also)

Xrd is more fun in many ways.

Xrd aged really well visually… I’m thinking no other stylized 3d game will ever top Strive in a very long time. And it’ll probably be beat by another game from ArcSys.

I love the direction they went in with strive, a lot of the xrd characters look ridiculous and a bit stupid imo.

Guess I'm the only one that noticed Potempkin has the same idle in Xrd and X2/Accent Core

I really love the pose Ram does for Calvados in xrd, but Strive's hat looks waaaaaaaaaaaay better

Faust was and is still the best character to this day. Which other fighting character has a super which is litterely mixing cups and punishing the enemy with anal stretching

I thought Faust was a creppy doctor guy. But after seeing his moves in the older games i am out of words

I never realized before how terrible Xrd Tyrant Rave looks.
