Dude's tone on highly populated countries is with such enthusiasm, like it's a flex or something, when it's not; especially for a country like mine(Nigeria) were the ever super increasing population is partly a reason for the terrible economy, "and yes, the economy is terrible even though it's like the largest or 2nd largest in Africa, but just giving the general estimate doesn't tell the full story at all, when there are so many people that economy has to provide for, there are quite a number of African countries that has a better economy per person than Nigeria, mainly because of their lower population"...

As an Indian, I remember reading in history textbooks that the Indian states are comparable to sovereign nations in Europe. I initially thought that the populations of our states would be lower than European nations and that this statement is an exaggeration. But, I see that the statement is very true. Each state has a different language, variations of the same religion (with a few exceptions, of course), a different set of ethics, etc. Many Indians think of countries as massive entities that need to stretch across a lot of latitudes and longitudes and filled with extreme diversity, because India is. The fact that the world has 195 countries and that 18% of all humans live in my country is something that the Indian mind struggles to realise. As I watch western entertainment, I see stereotypes and cultural cliches for each Western nation despite each of these nations having populations comparable to moderately populated Indian states and this has inflated my conception of populations of these nations.
