You can find used/police trade in P320 17x Rd magazines for $20. Given that, it doesn't make sense to buy the Magpul magazines.

It could be that the Mag-Pul spring wire might be oversized to spec. That would increase the overall collapsed length under compression. Perhaps replace the spring with an OEM spring from Sig or a replacement set from Wolff Springs. If the feed-lip area dimensions are identical to OEM then just replace all of the internals with a factory set. My reasoning for this is that if the magazine body dimensions are internally the same, then the possible causes would be either the spring wire dimensions, the follower depth or the floor-plate locking plate. Obviously, something has caused a decrease in available volume under compression. Since this is the first generation of this magazine, this is a relatively insignificant issue that'll be easy to engineer out of the succeeding generations of the model. I agree with you, the price difference isn't worth the one extra round.

Had the same problem with the G26 pmag 12 rounders when they came out. 12th round went in so difficult I was afraid it was going to dent the case. Springs never set in. Spent time messaging a magpul engineer micing the follower dimensions and spring length/coils. Eventually gave up. Few take 12. Rest hold 11.

I would check the height of the mag follower to see if they are too tall and it is a physical stop issue.

Any chance you could link this exact holster? Ive been looking for a left handed safariland in the exact configuration on Amazon and cant find it

As noted in the video, the paddle equipped Safariland holsters are often more readily available then the other models. Sometimes they are significantly cheaper. My factory Multicam wrapped 63' series RDS was like $85. The paddles are also surprisingly good and it's trivial to swap it out for a QLS fork. Note that my understanding is that the factory paddle equipped holsters have a slightly different hole placement. I believe it's midway between the LEO and MIL placement.

You can use the money you saved to buy upgrades from OT Defense and Ghostmen Designs.

any difference taking the mags apart? is it only the spring pressure that'll prevent the additional round going in? it' s not the follower that's too long?

more than likely the spring inside the magazine is not sitting on the follower correctly. had this happen with mecgar mags. some newby on the assembly line, not quite getting it right

I had this issue with my 80s Era Beretta 15rnd mags. Check to see if the minimum wage worker put the springs in backward. Sounds crazy, I know. Try the other way.

To whom it may concern: I use a tool to load my M17 magazines - 17 and 21 capacities. I can fully load them. Yes, the last 2 are stiff - especially the last one. But I have experienced no ill effects to the magazines or to the reliability of pistol use. Hope you all experience the same.

To help with getting the last round into that mag, you can hold pressure on the top round in the mag with your thumb, then smack the magazine (while maintaining pressure on the top round) against the palm of your other hand. This will make all 16 rounds in the mag act kind of like a dead blow hammer and will send that spring down to the bottom. After doing that once, it will typically make loading the next round much easier. Shadow Systems has a video demonstrating this in case I didn’t make that explanation so good.

Did you take them apart to ensure they were assembled properly? I saw many reports of M&P Shield Plus magazines improperly assembled causing them not to be able to be loaded to capacity.

Interestingly, the magazine shown spine-on on Magpul's website only has 16 rounds in it as well. Either way, I'm glad there is another option to the overpriced SIG factory mags.

50 bucks for a magazine that goes in a polymer pistol is a lot. Especially for all mec gar mags. Maybe it’s the demand

The wilson grip modules are awesome but they're putting lipstick on a pig. My P365 failed after maybe 3k rounds I'll keep my 320 because I'm an instructor in a military town but I've sold my 365 (after fixing the trigger spring myself sig wanted double what parts cost for shipping) and I'm selling my X5 legion its not like my issue with my 365 was an outlier sig just keeps having QC and material quality issues and I can't trust them. Back to running a glock 34 but this time I've got s timney trigger in it.
