Hey Cherilyn! I have a question, my first row is very tight. I basically did my first stitches ever on this project and they were extremely tight, but I'm quite a few rows in now, looks a bit like a rainbow because the first row is tight and everything else is stretchy. Do I have to start over now? Is there any way to salvage it?
ОтветитьCongratulations!!!! Incredible video and explanation!!!!!
ОтветитьThank you for counting in measurements instead of stitches, my tension always ends up pretty tight so counting stitches doesn’t aways work 😅
Ответитьso how do you get your first row so straight, mine was really twisted.
ОтветитьThis is the best video I have ever seen on how to make this type of beanie. Thank you!
Ответитьit was perfect thank you🥺🥺💗💗
ОтветитьThank you so much for this tutorial. I have made several beanies now using this method. Never would have believed it was so easy. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! I just finished a beanie for my friend. After almost a week of trial and error, and while working with quite the thick yarn(not chunky but very fluffy) which made it impossible to see the right loops its done and im really happy with how it turned out. Great practice on how to control how tought the yarn is.
ОтветитьI'm a complete beginner, I've always wanted to know how to crochet and I was finally brave enough to try it. I've tried simple things like flowers, hearts, but a beanie? It sounded too advanced, but thanks to your video I finished my first beanie yesterday. A bit clunky and too big :D, but I managed it and am going to make another one, hopefully better. I'm really happy and thanks for this tutorial and your work. You are the best!
Ответить😇
ОтветитьThanks!
I just finished it!
Great video!!! Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for that video. Because of you, I will be making beanies to send to North Carolina. Keep up the great videos!
Ответить🎉epic gracias❤
ОтветитьThank you! This was easy to follow :)
ОтветитьJust writing notes for myself:
1st attempt 54 stitches long, 12 inches

ОтветитьLove this video! I just started learning to crochet and you make it so easy to understand and I can actually SEE what you’re doing step by step. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
ОтветитьLove your nails
ОтветитьFantastic tutorial, thank you!
Ответитьis there a reason for me that 100g of yarn is not enough for me to make a beanie, same weight and material, i use 4mm hook but it barely covered even half of whats needed
ОтветитьHow tight should the chain be? I can't even count how many times I've restarted😢
ОтветитьThis is my first attempt at a hat, and your tutorial is super straight forward and makes me feel confident that I should have no problem making one too! Might get fancy and attach a pom pom to the top, who knows? Can't wait to learn this so I can have another holiday gift option under my belt <3
ОтветитьHow much yarn did it took you to make it?
Ответитьthis is the first crochet video where i actually get it
ОтветитьIm planning to do this for my next project😍 may i know whats the measurement of its height??
ОтветитьFinaly a real begginer friendly tutorial! Can't wait to make it!!!
ОтветитьWhen I start my first row, it's 12 in, but as I add more rows, it shortens to 6 inches. Why's that? How do I stop that from happening?
ОтветитьI find the way the stitches connect so hard😭
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьafter trying to make a beanie twice and failing, i decided to follow this! it worked beautifully <3 very thorough and easy to follow tutorial, thank you so much! :)
ОтветитьHow many crochet ball need for this?
ОтветитьIm making it now ❤ greetings from Belgium
ОтветитьThis was extremely helpful and very well taught!!! I feel a lot of crochet tutorials can be confusing but this was very simple and I have made a wonderful beanie ❤ Thank you!!!
ОтветитьYour tutorial was very understandable and more informative than most other beanie videos. You took your time to explain the process and were very clear and concise. Thank you for the new way to make a beanie for my friends and family. ❤
ОтветитьIt told me to make it slightly smaller than I wanted...it stretched to the right length...its too. small.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!! I started crocheting 3 days ago and this was my very first project after learning the basics, this video was SO easy to follow and felt so reassuring with how calmly and clearly you explain everything. Seriously so helpful. The result was so good, I still can't believe I did that (thanks to your fantastic tutorial). I will recommend this to anyone who is starting crochet and looking for a good beginner tutorial 💖💖💖
ОтветитьThank you so much! Learning from scratch & feel like with your instructions being so clear, I can try & take this on! :) Handy as I love a beanie but have a big head - so can now make them to fit me instead of buying ones too small! <3
Ответитьhii, this pattern also work with all types of yarn?i have a junky yarn that i don’t know how to use ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьHi! Which type of yarn have you used? Is it aran or chunky yarn? Many thanks!
ОтветитьWould you be able to share the pattern? I’ll be on a plane and not sure if I’ll have WiFi to watch the video while I crochet.
ОтветитьHow many grams of yarn you used for crocheting this beanie
ОтветитьThank you for a beautiful easy pattern.....i plan on making several for Christmas presents in beautiful colors....i am so happy to have found your site.your video is excellent.
Again,thank you.
Is there a possible way how to fix the square if it's too small, i think that my head is bigger than 12 inches hahaha
ОтветитьThis was to hard I couldn’t do the second row never mind I found a way
ОтветитьLove this beanie...what is the weight or thickness of the yarn you used?
ОтветитьThank you very much! Made a beanie for my boyfriend as a small gift :)
ОтветитьI'm finishing my second beanie using this pattern, and oh my gosh!! you made this so easy to understand, by the time winter is over I'm going to have a whole closet filled with beanies! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
ОтветитьHow many inches you think is for a guy?
ОтветитьTwo weeks ago I couldn't tell the difference between crochet and knitting and never touched a hook in my life. Thanks to a few videos, I made a cool beanie! Your video has easily been the most understandable video I've seen so far! Thank you for this!
