Awesome idea once again, so much light!
ОтветитьTurned out so good!
ОтветитьWhat a great Fathers day gift!
ОтветитьLooks amazing !
ОтветитьLosing an interior outlet and having the bulky switch seems to be the only down side I can see.
Light placement on the front of the lid is good for illuminating the deck. the one on the back is questionable facing more forward than down but it does help with the top drawers.
Lid mounted magnet switch and internal wiring would make it damn near perfect.
Links dont seem to work anymore...I cant seem to find anything with magnetic strips.
ОтветитьGreat Idea! I just ordered this same tool box and I after watching this video I am ordering the same LED light strips but I think I am going to go one further. I think I am going to wire the lights directly to the power strip on the box from behind(by taking it out) for a cleaner look and then put a light up rocker switch in the empty space next to where the USB plugs are where there is room(if there is room behind it after I look). I will dremel out the space for it. If it won't fit there then I could probably put it on the box itself and flush mount it. I was going to go with a magnetic on off switch for when the top of the box opens the lights turn on but I decided against this as I probably won't close it much.
Thanks for the great idea!
Nice little project...looks great. I went the simple route and am using magnetized wireless RGB LED light strips with remote up on my hutch lid.
ОтветитьDo you have a video for the battery charger install on the side of the tool box
ОтветитьI want to do this but still a little confused on connecting both strips
ОтветитьGreat job on this. Question, now that you lived with it how is the light that faces you? Is it bothersome having the light in your eyes?
I just got a Husky 52" box which comes with an LED light but it is not very bright so thinking about this upgrade.
Any updates to the parts list? The link to the light is no longer available. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьNice looking job! I dig the magnetic strips and ballast. Do you knkw if pro lighting found another supplier for thjs kind of setup? Im planning to light under a snap on power top. Cheers.
