I read the show includes only 11 episodes (why not 12 or 13 + OVA as usual?).. this includes only the first volume of the light novel. I really hope we get a second season or a longer season one as soon as possible. I really enjoy the story between Lena and Shin (At least please adapt until volume 7)

This show is like Code Geass but with better animation and less annoying characters (table kun, Suzaku) I'm not saying it's as good as Code Geass but it's worth checking out.

Never watched the show, fishing through clips to see what catches my eye, saw this and i am getting mad Zoids vibe from this and that is NOT a bad thing. I know probably very different, but that fight reminded me of the good Ol Blader Liger and Liger Zero fights.

If this were ever to become live action I would rename it the 442nd, because the heroes of this anime
are soldiers who are forced live in ghettos and conscripted into the military. This happened to many
Japanese Americans who from internment camps (!) would still come forwards and volunteer to
fight for their country helping to win WW2 and winning countless decorations form bravery.
Even in an animated show we should honor the courage of the Japanese way of life and the
honor they bestowed upon their adopted nation.
