Is there enough length on the adapter to pull it out from the bar to leave a gap for the throttle movement?

If you put a washer or two between the expander and the end of the grip, it will space out the mirror enough that it wont drag on the throttle. You may need to get a longer Allen bolt if yours isnt long enough after the washer is installed. The expander will sit at the same place inside the bar, but that washer(s) are enough to 'push' the end cap out far enough to clear.

Right Motos: I never put them on actually. I have 12" z bars and ended up just throwing some clamps on the bars, dropping my mirrors below even further (I have a 48). I'm afraid last weekend was my last chance to ride for a while here in St Louis. Ride like the wind!

Aren't you supposed to put new loctite under the grips?

Hey man i had the same problem with my bike. Just add a couple washers ( i had to add six) and the throttle wont be getting stuck or pinched open..

You got balls of steel to do that to your Iron.

Hello. What kind of speedometer do you use and where did you buy it? i Liked it a lot. I have the same bike but hate the standard speedometer.

The issue is not with the grip. The issue is with the "expander" on the inside of the throttle tube, which, when you tighten it, expands to hold the mirror in place. Once it expands, the throttle sticks. I'm in the same dilemma as you right now. Thinking to remove the right side mirror and just stick with the left one. Good video, bro.

How are those mirrors lane splitters? You wouldn't want anything making your width any longer. Duh! You want the skinniest bars for a lane splitter bike.

Did you ever find a solution for the throttle? I want the same mirrors on my HD 750 street. But would like both mirrors if possible.

Its not a star bolt. It is a Torx. Its a 25 Torx. And some advise. Never use a screw gun of any kind on your bike. One slip and your fu*ked. Nice little bike though.

I did this mod but kept my stock mirror flipped down on the throttle side for safety. I was planning to change it later but no one has noticed in 4 months so I may just keep it.

Ugh just move your throttle assembly up on the bars so the expanded part of the tube won't effect it. Probably like half inch or so. Haha washers? Wtf ppl

I noticedd that you have the cafe guage mount. Did you have any issue with the indicator? If you have it right. Can you show us how to install it/wire it right? I've been having problem with turn signal and high been to connect right
