Indians had the World Series in there finger tips being up 3-1 but the fact that they only had 3 starting pitchers, that was the killer for Cleveland.

They didn't have it "won." They had their chance to win it in the bottom of the 9th, but they went 3 up 3 down with the top of the lineup and a dead Chapman hanging sliders. The rain delay didn't really matter. The Cubs had their top of the lineup come up and got some clutch hits.

Die hard cubs fan here. That game was an emotional rollercoaster. From screaming to the top of my lungs after Dexter Fowler’s lead off homer to literally sobbing on the floor after Rajai Davis’ game tying homer. In my opinion Trevor Bauer is 100% correct about if the tarp doesn’t come out, the Indians win that game. It just seemed so cub that the Indians tied it up. And yeah if Heyward doesn’t give that speech, the cubs don’t win. It’s worth paying him too much money for a single rain delay speech (sounds crazy...) also thanks for everything you do for this channel Trevor. This is good stuff

I watched the whole series, and as a cubs fan, I definitely feel like you guys had an edge over us the whole series. It felt like a nail biter the whole time. It was a really exciting series and an even matchup for the most part. But even I can admit, as a lifelong cubs fan, that had it not been for the rain delay to get our bearings back, we may not have pulled that one off. Not until this year are we starting to look like the team we were again in 2015 or 16. Fingers crossed again for this season but the Dodgers are looking really strong again too. And Trev, thanks for all that you’re doing for baseball. Your channel is awesome for giving all of us fans the insight and for giving individual players a voice and giving us a perspective we wouldn’t get otherwise. Keep killin it bro.
