Google really needs a dedicated quiz and test feature for Classroom. Forms was designed for surveys and it shows. Grading is clunky, there is no question bank/random question feature, no math symbol or foreign language character entry for students, limited question types, and it’s all the damn time erasing my students’ progress and forcing them to start over. This is all basic necessity, must-have functionality for giving online tests, not “nice extras the devs might add in the future”. Come on Google, you have plenty of resources to do better than this.

I have an 80 question diagnostic test. How do I load it from Adobe without typing each question from scratch?

Great Video....however, can anyone explain how to auto return 'Pass or Fail' following student 'Submission'. I can see grading/marking etc....and that's cool.....but I don't see how you can configure the quiz to return 'Pass or Fail.....any ideas??

Thank you for this! What I'd like more information on is how to make the quiz secure, especially when I release the scores. I'd like the students to know which question numbers they got wrong, but not be able to see the questions or answers, until I go over them in class. (This is so I don't have to write multiple copies of each quiz to accommodate students who are absent, in quarantine, etc.). I'm not seeing a way to do that, though.

I came here for details of why my students can't access the quiz sometimes, why I can't tell whose responses are whose, etc. A more technical review of those details is needed.

Thank you for this video. Great content as usual. Just a point for teachers to be aware of. When a deadline is set, the default time is midnight, and students will get a notification on their phone or tablet at this time. So that this does not disturb them at this time, I always set the deadline time to 6pm.

Great video. I would like to create a quiz in advance, but I do not want to schedule it yet. I saw "Save a draft" under the drop-down menu of "Assign," "Schedule," or "Save a draft." Is there a way I can create it in advance, as I would any other assignment, and post it when I am ready?

Just one doubt: I tried this in my classroom. But the scores are not getting displayed after the quiz in the Classwork section. What should I do now? My students are complaining what went wrong with their results!! Pls help!
