I run prime 95 on my AMD 9590 instead of a space heater.
Ответитьcant wait till you guyz return
ОтветитьPrime 95
ОтветитьY cruncher is the ultimate test for stability and heat. If your pc can get through a 2.5b round of that it will get through anything.
Ответитьnobody benchmarks like the miners, they are the real bench-markers. they run their pc 24/7 under real load.

Hey - I like using Fortran back in the late 70's. Great with numbers but sucked with text. It got better over time.
Ответитьim having issues with my pc randomly shutting down, i dont know wether its the gpu temperature or my cpu, wanted to tryout a stresstest ill see how its gonna go..
ОтветитьHello, I recently bought a new pc with Intel i7 13700kf and CPU cooler silverstone ar12 tuf, gpu rtx 3080 to,
My question is - is my cpu cooler enough because my cpu temperature is getting up to 70 - 90 Celsius when I am playing a game like skyrim, on idle it's between 40 to 50 Celsius,
Is something wrong or is normal?
Thanks.
Needless to say...for the average everyday user...don't risk running these tests unless you want to roll the dice on destroying your computer due to lack of knowledge running these tests.
ОтветитьI benchmark my CPU by spawning cheese in whiterun.
ОтветитьYou know, I'm something of a scientist myself. I would just run CPUZs benchmark for like 10 minutes and pass, but as soon as I launched a game, instant crash.
ОтветитьA lifesaver. I was just looking for an guide on benchmark programs, and most important, a way to graphic them. Thanks!
ОтветитьJDR Microdevices baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьMY PC Is Stable and runs fine with ANY OTHER TEST.. But Crashes when I use Cinebench... Anyone Know WHY??
ОтветитьI’m going to download occt for stability testing. My question is, would this program only be good for testing hardware once overclocked or is it also good for stock hardware?
Ответитьgot a ryzen 5 5600x and it was running hotter than I liked. undervolted by an offset of .15 volts and now it’s perfect, used cinebench to test the temps and stability.
Ответитьthemeral paste!
ОтветитьLove these kinds of videos, getting to the nitty-gritty. Helpful for us too!
ОтветитьIn the moment he said "sponsors" i stop watch. We all know you have sponsors "mo idea why someone will advertise in your channel" but you shouldnt PRESS it to us.
Not a way to became sub. Or follow.
Eeee
Ответитьprime 95 is like putting your cpu in the oven. not realistic
ОтветитьPower and temperature should be directly correlated.
But the CPU isn't homogenous. So CPU package might not be the indicator.
Now my question is. Can I call my oc stable for gaming if the only time it ever crashes is due to over temp protection because prime95 small ffts w avx enabled dragged my cpu to the firey pits of hell?
ОтветитьY-Cruncher blows all of these out of the water due to it's IMMENSE amount of stress that it places on the cpu and ram
ОтветитьThe important question is... Is that ficus real?
ОтветитьSo, where's my vs Ron v2.5 leak?
ОтветитьHe says that Linpack performs linear algebra: but that's also precisely what Prime95 FFT is: a Fast Fourier Transform is a Linear Algebra operation.
ОтветитьMy pc overheatted and now it turn on and off
ОтветитьWithout it, I wouldn't have known that my 4770 GTX1050 system could stream without shooting itself in the foot.
ОтветитьTry a cryptomining program for another stress test!
ОтветитьCrysis?
Ответитьback in 2010s(and 2009) when my pc consisted solely of parts bin parts that i got from my friend's dad who worked in the air force and brought back old pc parts, i used to test my new hard drives by constantly saving and loading sims 3 worlds. seagates used to dominate
ОтветитьIma overheat my old PC, it only went 1000Mhz lol
ОтветитьOcct AVX2 is great for ram
ОтветитьThis is the equivalent of suiting up your daily driver to go racing. It won't be extremely competitive, but it will teach you the limits of your car and how finely can ride them before something goes wrong.
Ответитьlaugh, "stress testing is a part of regular maintenance." get real. The only regular people who stress tests are over clockers and PC wallet warriors who's entire life is revolve around tech site comment sections.
ОтветитьOh wow! Microcenter has a free 256GB 2.5" SATA 3 SSD?! That's gotta be worth like... $30 by now.
Ответитьi have been actually stress testing laptops and pcs with prime95 to make sure the thermal paste i changed does the job well and make sure they don't thermal throttle immediately and don't power off when they hit Max temp
ОтветитьAnticipating the 3D VCache not-recommended OC benchmarks
Ответитьlike a two cooking plates. One For the CPU, one for the GPU.
ОтветитьUnpatched Fallout 3 is the greatest pc crasher of all time
Ответитьcan we even buy from micro center in canada. shame linus
ОтветитьBTW: yesterday on 13.04. a new version of Generic Log Viewer was released: 6.3 👍
Ответитьthis is the video that shows up in my reccomended as i have a cpu burner and a gpu stress test going to try and warm up my room becuase im freezing
ОтветитьI had a problem on my T7600 Dell where it just refused to cool itself if not absolutely "necessary" (and then it would refuse to stop cooling even if there was no load) so I would just launch WoWs and WoT in the background and pile up huge ships in a simulator till it would finally spin up the fans, all just to get rid of the thermal throttling during warthunder
ОтветитьIs it fair to compare an i7 to a rizen 9?
ОтветитьI'm not sure why you would want to overheat your cpu... but I got my 5900x to 108c when I accidentally unplugged my aio pump. It only took about 15-20secs. Fun times.
ОтветитьBOINC with the right tasks can really test out your whole PC (CPU/GPU). Especially if you set the CPU load to like 80-90%.
