Thank you so much for this video! I had been experiencing anxiety, terrible fatigue, depressed mood and headaches and was so confused why! I had never been a "headache" person or a very anxious person. I was so tiired I struggled to work. I finally had my doc test my iron level. It was well below normal. Now I can correct this with iron infusions. Thank you!!

i got blood tested for a job i have iron deficiency and i had angular cheilitis or something like that but my blood cells should be okey. . Last 2 years i got fat i was depressed my hair started falling which could be genetics as my father brother has it as well but the fast rate it happened might mean that my iron was low already 2 years ago.

What if ferritin is <1?

My experience with the beta form of Cooleys anemia and having iron deficiency symptoms, at the same time....is that doses of iron cause so much abdominal pain and nausea, that pills have to be discontinued in a hurry. This and transfusions have been the only solutions offered. So far none of these solutions have been used. What happens, with a bone marrow transplant? Will my DNA have changed after that? Thanks.

I went to get my hair done yesterday and my hairdresser said she could tell I was low on Iron from my hair. Watching this video kinda makes sense. I am always tired, my hands and feet are always cold (I feel the cold in general). I just looked inside my eyes and they match the picture in this video!! I suffer from chronic migraines! I recently have been noticing my heart beat a weird rhythm at times, it doesn't happen often but I had no idea it was related to Anemia. I don't think it's anything serious. I could go on!!! So I bought Iron vitamins and have started taking them! I read it can take a few weeks to feel a change.

IDA is horrible, only symptoms mentioned that I have is the ice cravings , weakness and caved nails . My major issue is muscle pains in arms and legs that felt like electric shocks at times..Also had noises in my ear . Ferritin was less than 2 and Hb was 9. Doc at hospital suggested I take Sideral Forte capsules and in 2 months started to feel ok , no ice cravings or ear noises but still left with muscle pains and praying that goes away in time too .

I don't know I always feel tired and sleepy and everytime decrease concentration this makes me really hard to study...

What about bone, back pain, joint, pelvic pain?

I have normal HgB, but my ferratin is pretty low

I have Anemia since when I was a kid and until now. I don't know if I can stay longer in this earth, but I just want everybody to know that I love my family so much. If they read this, I hope I put smile on their face. I'm sorry for all the mistake that I've done to my family. I hope you guys forgive me. I definitely have it and have been diagnosed with it. It is truly a battle at times just to get things done and the focus. I’m on iron supplements, but they’re not really doing a whole lot. A symptoms that I have sometimes have is feeling shaky even sometimes after I eat. I don’t understand it or I’ll just get that feeling and will have to eat anything right away to make it stop.

I’m 13 and I have mild fatigue and sometimes shortness of breath, allergies or anemia or anything else?

I was diagnosed with severe anemia at 38 weeks pregnant. I start iron infusions next week before my surgery in 2 weeks. I’m pretty nervous!

Agh i was wondering why my heart suddenly started racing earlier today while laying down felt like I couldn't breathe for a sec then took a slow deep breath and suddenly felt my heart race like when you finish running. I have problems with memory so it doesn't help when im going about my day then completely Forget about anemia and freaking low iron i sometimes wake up like this and wonder why im super sleepy throughout helf the day and feel weird but then i remember the symptoms and then I get mad like shh I forgot about this. I only seem to remember when i start craving red meats or beans as soon as i get that bad craving i immediately think back like aghhh freaking low iron no wonder i been feeling dizzy all day lol

I'd like to thank my uterine fibroids and heavy long periods for my low iron....I am constantly in panic. In the car ..walking...trying to sleep . This is hell on earth.
I've been on 300mg iron twice already in 1 yr and I eat a LOT of steak. Chicken..fish .kale..spinach. I'm at a loss here. Truly. I'm also 46 and perimenopausal.

I also wanted to mention there are two types of iron tests. The most common test looks for only one thing in your blood. On that test my iron looks normal. It is on the test where they look at two things in your blood. In that test I am anemic. It went untreated most of my life.

I have had a severe blood infection from a parasite but despite the blood tests done all indicate parasites. The C Reactive Protien is through the roof, platelets and white blood cell counts high, and erythrolite sedmentation rate is very high.
I see a lot of mucus in stool, and the helminths are visible. I am also anemic and iron deficiency.
THE DOCS WONT HELP. They would rather call me crazy then do the right tests.

I have developed this type of anaemia in these last five years, but don't know exactly why. I eat meat, although i suspect it might be because i lose a lot of blood during my menstruation. I have all the symptoms presented here except pica. I'm pale, feel weak,tired and cold. Exercising is impossible. I tried running once before getting diagnosed and almost vomited and fainted. Luckily after i got iron i could start running again.
