Miss Lilia, I am recently studying in 10th std and filling my application form for UWC, may you please tell me more about the rules of IB, if possible?
ОтветитьWhat is cas exactly and how does it work
ОтветитьIf I want become a doctor what subjects should I take and and do you have to take two language and is in similar to gcse
ОтветитьI’m super scared rn because I don’t know whether or not I’ll have what it takes to do IB. Hopefully I do and I learn a lot from it!
Ответитьrecently dropped out of Ib and I could not be happiet
ОтветитьI thought this was gonna be about the game Ib
ОтветитьI'm sure that some (in the U.S.) might immediately think that IB is the globalist agenda of the "New World Order". (AKA, The Shape-shifting Lizard People.) However, from what I see, it is what Starfleet Academy might be like.
Ответитьi love watching this and realizing that in a week i'm graduating
for those who feel like taking ib: DO NOT TAKE LATIN I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE LATIN
so helpful :)
Ответитьi think i made the wrong decision going to ib
ОтветитьIts a framework rather than curricullum
ОтветитьI would to take it but English is not my first language and it would be very hard for me 😭😭😭
ОтветитьHello, if anyone has any useful information and tips on how to excel in the IB Programme grades 9-12, if you could reply to me and tell me anything I need to know that would be fantastic. I am currently in grade 8 and going to transfer to IB in grade 9.
ОтветитьI don't think I would have done the IB program if I could do it over. Yes it definitely makes college classes easier, but the burnout, stress and absolute wreck of mental health endured those 2 years was not worth it. I'd only consider it if I was 100% going to go to a university in a different country
ОтветитьHonestly, as much as it sucks, I’m pretty grateful for the IB. It stands out as a high-school program and I would say it’s very good at preparing you for college. Some tips for students joining the IB tho:
1) Be open and transparent with your teachers about EVERYTHING from DAY 1. Don’t let your pride take over you. It’ll save you a ton of trouble down the road
2) If you don’t really like a lesson, I don’t care what your coordinator says, DO NOT TAKE IT! I just finished the November exams (I graduate may 23). I missed the 7 in math AA HL (one of the hardest IB courses) for 1% and got a 4 in italian ab initio because my coordinator thought my program was too tough and I needed an “easy lesson”, so he gave me italian (I hate learning languages but didn’t disagree at the time). On that note, do some research before choosing courses, and if you feel like you need to change a course, do it early on.
3) Don’t take computer science. Seriously, it’s the only course with an IA that makes the EE look easy. On a serious note, the IA is ridiculously hard and annoying, and I’ve never seen a course ask for CS. The lesson isn’t particularly fun either. You barely code and just regurgitate stuff from the text book
4)Just have fun! If you choose the right subjects, sure it’s gonna be a lot of work, but you’ll seriously enjoy it as well. My math course is my hardest course, but it’s also the only course (besides the mandatory ones, obv) in my program that I would keep if I could make it over
OMG comments here make me anxious... I'm doing middle year programme and I'm not that fluent in english as native speakers. I heard there will be a lot of disadvantages if I take Eng B... Should I just choose Eng A? ahh
ОтветитьDropped out after 1 year. Wasn't for me
ОтветитьAny advice about IB MYP? Is it worth it? How is it compared to public middle school curriculum? Or does IB make more sense starting high school? Most of the IB online material only takes about IB in the high school so any advice is highly appreciated
ОтветитьIf you are thinking engage IB, think twice, you probable are spending your time
ОтветитьI want to major in finance. should I do IB or A-levels?

I don’t know if I should do IB or not cuz I’ll have to apply in grade 8 September or October, I have had people tell me not to do it, but also a lot of people telling me I should. I’m going to take it and hopefully get my IB diploma! Thank you for the help in the video!

Ответитьim a freshman and i cant decide if i wanna do IB, i have all a's right now. but im scared of failure.... should i do it?
ОтветитьI take my IB test to get in on the 29th of January, and I'm terrified of failing it, I'll update this when I get my results

Ответитьgteat😘😘🇳🇵🇳🇵
ОтветитьThese comments from a few years ago are starting to convince me not to quit
Here's the thing, I don't know what I want for my future, is it sad to say I kind of just stumbled my way into the IB program? I hadn't done my research (my bad, but I was in the 8th grade) and decided that it sounded like a good idea because schools might like it
I've only done pre-ib which is basically academic I think and am failing math, barely passing my second language and still spending a lot more of my time than I'm used to just doing homework.
People say to do it if you want to go out of your country and tbh, I don't know if I do. I'm also thinking if I can barely handle what would be academic, how am I meant to handle the actual program giving college level courses??
I do understand the IB program gives valuable skills and prepares people for college/uni but if I can't pass high school how am I meant to go to college?
I'm just feeling very lost as of the moment (failing math also isn't doing well to my emotions and confidence)
I havent done it but i live in the uk and i was looking at oxford uni and it said the requirement is 39 and the average school grades for ib r around 40 in the uk yet i have to take 4 a levels to meet expectations i was like y didnt i go ib then i look at the past maths papers and im like r u guys tryna get a masters in the subjects before u even go uni ?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this helpful video. I got into IB and Ive been sitting in class for two days and stressing myself out because I didnt know what anyone was talking about (IA, CAS, etc). Now Ive got less things to worry about.
ОтветитьGreat video, love it 😍
ОтветитьI’m going to a high school what has ib and planning to take it in 2 years from now. But I’m worried because my English subject is not that good and I feel like I’m gonna suck in ib
ОтветитьI’m gonna take the fce exam and if i’ll pass then i’m gonna take ib. Wish me luck! :>
