Should women be allowed to teach or pastor?

In these days women earn more and educated more than most of the men. Also, men drink a lot especially in the UK. Today is a woman who is the leader of the house.

My husband is emotional and intelligently hanicapped. Should he be the leader of our family.

I prefer a man to be a pastor than a woman. However a woman can teach in the house of God

Women can teach ofcourse, they can win, they are useful in the ministry except for ONE... THEY DONT STAND IN A CONGREGATION... or to Lead a Church..

I listened to this video years ago and at the time my relationship with my husband was very strained and I really didn't submit to his authority and I didn't respect him... I thought I did... I thought I was submissive but when I look back, I was in error... So at this time, watching this video i thought they had this wrong... That women shouldn't speak and be pastors etc...

But since that time and by the grace and mercy of the Most High, I've been taught what true submission looks like (I'm not perfect, still learning) but now I have TRUE respect for my husband, and I truly want to submit under his authority, trusting that my Heavenly Father will guide my husband as my husband leads our family.

And as I watch this video today, I'm in full agreement with them because as I've submitted more to my husband and the authority he has, I see the Father's protection and love and I see that the design is not lordship, but a unit that works. And at 13 years married it's never been better... By God's grace, not of our own.

So be encouraged ladies the Lord loves you and you can trust the Father enough to fully resign authority over to your husband and watch your the Father starts leading your family.

Everyone has the right to do what they want to but I don't remember reading about any women in the priesthood working the temple service now we can use a few verses where a woman was a judge each person has the right to do what they want me personally will never said any of the teaching of a woman I do not believe that she should be in that place in a public setting where she is teaching a bunch of men and women I won't be caught in that situation and I have no problem with women sitting teaching a bunch of women

You said women have the authority that husband gives and they have anointing that men do not. We understand this.

But you didn't actually answer.... Can Women TEACH in a church!? Which includes teaching men?
Can women be elders and deacons over a church?
You said they can teach children and worship. That's not teaching I'm not interested in teaching children. But I have some teaching gift.

I'd like, at this time, to point out that men have lead the church thus far and look at the mess its in. Lol especially the catholic pedo church and the NAR prophetic led movement. Both Totally false Totally deceptive and totally run by men.

I recently attended a new church where a married couple are co-pastors. I was taken back at first because the pastor doing the service was a woman. She gave what I would call an "anointed message", one that I needed desperately and will never forget. I agree that it is the anointing we should look for. I left a church because I didn't feel I was growing, even after I tried to make some positive changes. Matthew 7: 15-20...you will know them by their fruits.

IN marriage, the guidelines are different than IN Christ. Headship to the husband in the home, however in Galatians, it's clear that gifts and calling are NOT different between Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free, nor male nor female. IF women are not to be in leadership positions, then by the same measurement neither are Gentiles or slaves. There's a MUCH wider picture here that many are missing.

What are your thoughts about the Christian churches?? We preach about Messiah & about him being the Son of God and dying for our sins.

Teaching and pastoring are two different things. All missionaries must be able to teach; and many missionaries are women. The word apostle means a "sent one", such as the 12 apostles of Christ. They were traveling teachers/preachers. Women were also apostles, as we see from Romans 16. Furthermore, Jesus commanded all disciples (men and women) to be apostles in Matthew 28. The real distinction between a woman who preaches/teaches and a pastor is, the pastors job is to have oversight over the Church. Women are prevented from having oversight over men. But that does not mean women should be restrained from carring-out the command of Christ by your lack of knowledge of the Greek language, or lack of Church history knowledge. Tell Monte I really enjoy his teaching, but I believe he needs some enlightenment on this issue. J.M.M.

Not a marriage question. It was women as elder pastor in church question. There are several verses and different books jude, Timothy and Corinthians even old testament didn't allow women as priests, Pharisees, Sadducees teachers of the congregation

Don't know about yall but I would much rather be taught, descipled by a woman who is teaching Torah from Messiah's lead than a man who is obviously constantinian and concerned with his own paycheck.

I have read the Through at least 30 times And when God set up his priesthood, there's no evidence of a woman offering sacrifices are alighting. Up the Ashes and I quit going to line in land because of women teachers. And I won't ever go back as long as he has women teachers. yes, women are used by God but are not supposed to take on mens' positions for a very good reason. Remember Adam and Eve? Adam should have told Eve not to eat that fruit.

The question was not regarding marriages. The answer is No. A woman cannot teach or preach in mixed company where a man is present.

I call this tap dancing ...Paul knew exactly what he meant... Unfortunately, some bible teachers come up with all the excuses they can to justify women teaching to men... sodomites do the same..personally do what you want ...as for me... what is written is written...women preach in my Baptist church, and that could explain why there is no men in leadership...I attend but I won't join this church because along with the pastors,( men ), they are all playing church...furthermore, there isn't much to choose from here.
