Cafe Racer (Honda CX 500 / CX 650 by RACER TV) The Full Story

Is that the full Norton Exhaust or just the peashooters? I have two CX500 builds going right now, one will be a mild vintage cafe which I would love that exhaust setup. The other is going to be a bit more radical with a single swingarm. Thanks!

Well, after a great deal of waiting for the timeline for both myself, and the gentleman who I purchased my
( new to me ) CX650 to finally come together,
I finally took delivery of it yesterday ! ! !
No more excuses !
My winter project has arrived !
Do you think your builder might be willing to mfr. the pieces that he built from scratch for my
CX650 project ?
I.e. primarily the shifter linkage, and the rear drive hub assembly ?
These are of course the items that of course can't be purchased in the aftermarket, and certainly not the used market !

The old cx500 was lovingly also known as the plastic maggot ,I had one and it never let me down .

Being owner of both British twins as well as the XS-650, let me asure you these are in no way alike. That is the biggest missassumption about the XS. It might look like a Brit, but is completely different in many ways. Still a very good motorcycle with it's very own character.

1st time viewer here,,, I have a 83 Honda CX650C. I’m thinking about doing something cafe racer. The only thing is the frame is weird,,, as you probably already know… I’m going to be watching & taking notes on how to.. You have any suggestions rt off,, I would appreciate them.
