Here's a story I have about this: When I was a kid, I was playing with fit and it told me to put in my height, so I put in 3cm, because, I had no idea what I was doing, then I did the tests, and I probably weighed about 35 kilos at the time, so when I told me I was obese, i absolutely cried my eyes out.

When my brother got the Wii fit I tried it out and had a problem. I have one leg slightly shorter than the other and a slanted pelvis, I couldn't get the little red dot into the middle of the screen without having my shorter leg raised slightly on tiptoe. I never used the Wii fit after that.

Why would that be offensive?

Most other countries do not have the sensitivity about body image that America does. Central and Eastern Europe, and most of Asia are brutally honest or even disrespectful if you're obese.
