My sweet boy lived to be 19 years old. He always knew when I was upset, and stayed close beside me. One thing about Maine coons is that they don't like a closed door, and I miss him yelling at the laundry room door at 3 am.
ОтветитьI need a 25 pounder
ОтветитьBe careful with maine coons when it's freezing. Allways give them a way in
ОтветитьAre they good at catching gophers?
ОтветитьMy Sir Charles chose me. I walk at bay and he came out of bushes one afternoon. Thin. Feral colony close by and feeders said they noticed “Charlie” 3 weeks prior. Knew he had been dumped. They had been feeding, wanted to, get to trap as he was adoptable. Helped feed, trap and got to shelter. No chip, not neutered. They took care of him. Brought him home. Weighs 22 pounds. Was around 2, now 5. Huge. Follows me all over. Never leaves my side. Gets along well with my other kitties. Love him!
ОтветитьI want one as a snuggle blanket
ОтветитьMy friend that lives in azores found a kitten maine coon! she took care of him and we just found out yesterday his breed, he is a maine coon with some mixture of a common european.

ОтветитьI just adopted my deceased grandfather's Maine Coon and she is the smallest adult cat I have ever seen. But she is so loving and personable.
ОтветитьI don't know why I'm the one to point this out because I don't care and normally watch these type of videos BUTT...
Paraphrasing the video," Obviously females are smaller".
Why is that obvious? Some species have larger females or ones who hunt, like lions. It's not like humans. We are dumb but trying really hard. Some species of animal have totally reversed gender roles and size. Just saying; not obvious and not true.
We got a surprise maine coon and Norwegian forest cat mix from a shelter, no one else picked him up because he had a nasty respiratory infection.
We genetically tested him because he got so big soooo fast.
He is 15 pounds at 10 months. Soooo big but healthy according to the vet.
It is now winter in the Midwest and we have to open the window for him and let the cold wind blow on him at night, it's his happy place 😆
So, they are large and they are fluffy?🙄I feel like I am in kindergarten 🙄
ОтветитьMy MC would fetch like a dog. It's a great breed that is beautiful, playful and intelligent.
ОтветитьWhaa???? I have a plain black short haired black cat that is 21 lbs. He is just big not fat
Ответитьmeww :33
ОтветитьI never seen main coom before until now i was wondering where you get them and how much do they cost
ОтветитьWhat a coon man I love them
ОтветитьI got my Maine coons for free my landlady had a litter of them and she gave two to me and one to a family member of mine.
ОтветитьThat's Awsome to hear nice Longevity with Maine-Coone. I just got a wild or feral kitten, tore me up, couldn't use my hands for 2 weeks of ouch. She was the size of a Squirrel and looked like one as I chased it down in my closed like a trap entryway. She's the best now after living under my bed for a month. She's morethan obviously a purebred by every aspect. Loki is her name, Zeus my Manx brought her home to eat, she was starving and about 10 weeks old, she's growing fast too, big feet.
ОтветитьGirlfriend had one, 22 pounds, called Sammy. He'd chase dogs out of his yard.
ОтветитьI HAD ONE, SHE WAS LIKE A PUPPY IN A CAT SUIT!!!
ОтветитьMy cat died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (hcm) (possibly the one before too both mainecoons)
The first was 7 just one day came in limping then lost all function in his back legs R.I.P Jerry the other was 2.25 years 25 cat years she had a heart attack earlier today 12/12/23 R.I.P Nala my little angel ❤️❤️❤️
My Domingo "Mingo" Aurelius was such a loving goofball! He Liked to get even with my exe's dog as she was always eating his food. He would lure her into the kitchen ..where she was not allowed...with a little piece of meat he had apparently hidden away. Once she snuck in the room to grab the meat and run, he would jump out from his hiding place between the stove and counter and scare the living s*%$ out of her...One day as I was driving to work, I noticed people laughing and pointing at me as if trying to get my attention....As I stopped at a red light about a mile from my home, I couldn't believe my eyes as Mingo's upsidedown face , followed by his furry tummy, slid slowly down my windshield...with both of us looking at each other in amazement! I bet that was quite a sight to see me speeding along in my car with a statuesque grey cat , fur streaming in the wind, looking like a ships captain, enjoying his adventure! He actually tried it again months later, but the neighbor at the end of the street gave his presence on the car roof away before I hit the busy street! He also loved to catch lizards and sneak them into the house for "play dates". He had a way of carrying them inside using his mouth to keep them from escaping, playing with them until their tails would drop off, signaling it was twitching tail snack time. He would quickly gobble his lizard friend's tail down, gather their traumatized little bodies ever so gently in his mouth, and return them to the rocks and grassy areas where he had kidnapped them an hour prior. He always took care to never prick or bite a scale on them...I believe he felt he had nothing to do with the poor little creature's loss of the tasty tail! But Mingo, being the adventurous but honorable feline that he was, never took advantage of any other body part....It seemed he knew the tail would grow back fatter and tastier for the next play date! Anyway, I miss him...he was quite a character and a lot better company than a lot of people I have known!
ОтветитьOwned a Maine Coon and Norwegian forest cat mix years back. Now let me tell you, that cat was a beauty. Sporting a black and white coat. A huge cat too, probably the biggest I've ever owned. A very majestic cat with the name of Damien lol
ОтветитьYes! Ours dropped dead right after he turned 3. The breeder had not had a silver and black tabby since Frank. Two weeks to the day, the silver and black tabby male was born, and she gave him to us. They are half brothers as we believe his mother may have been a carrier of that disease.
ОтветитьMy sister owned two Maine Coons. I met one once. Such a gentle giant ❤😊
ОтветитьI cant fin any free.
ОтветитьThey are good cats. A friend gave me a gray tabby. She was so sweet. My wife loved that kitten. That grew into her big feet. The cat died ina house fire. It about killed my wife. About 7 years later my wife passed at 54. I know God can do the impossible. I know Kim and Jazz are together again.
ОтветитьPretty sure we just got a main coon mix from the shelter. He looks like a cross between a bob cat and a tabby and he's huge
ОтветитьTwo dangerous pieces of misinformation are in this video! 1. Cats should NOT generally be locked inside. Whenever possible, they should have the ability to go out. Yes, including on their own. 2. You should NOT bathe your cats without any specific reason (for example sickness or they are completely muddy etc.). It's possible that is different for Maine Coons but this video says this in general. Especially the second point is very common knowledge at this point, so this video is extremely badly researched. In fact, you should not make any cat videos anymore, top prevent spreading more misinformation that is hurtful to cats.
ОтветитьThe golden retriever of cats 🥺🥺🥺
Ответитьi glad i have this cat
ОтветитьHow to find Maine coon cat ??

ОтветитьI sold my Mitsubishi Evolution this year, try not to think about it too much, and then one pops up in a cat video of all places lmao
ОтветитьMy Maine Coon Cat, Tamsin, crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 16. When my fiancee was killed in an accident 6 months before our scheduled wedding, Tamsin helped me survive. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge 7 years ago and I miss her very, very much.
ОтветитьRon Perlman, I like his movies.
ОтветитьMy coon is a female at 16 lbs, her son is 26 lbs and my daughter has him. She's getting weird, and sleeps with me at night.
ОтветитьMine loved jumping in water and his chosen profession as a hunter. Too many times I heard a rabbit screaming then a loud crunch and the next day, pieces of the carcass on my doorstep. He didn't eat cat food, he went out and got it fresh.
ОтветитьBig baby with me. Liked to sleep on my back; and give me a back chiropractor work.
ОтветитьThey're super affectionate and they are healers. They're an awesome breed to own.
ОтветитьDo they sell Maine Coon cats in Australia?
ОтветитьWe adopted a tiny, fierce shelter cat that ended up being a Maine Coon. He was feral and bonded with me... followed me everywhere. Was so loving and intelligent. I miss you, Bob.
ОтветитьI had one. They are huge, very friendly and very loveable🥰🤗
ОтветитьModerate to large cats, lol, they are huge and very beautiful🥰
