How to Fix anterior pelvic tilt exercise
ОтветитьThank you so much.
ОтветитьIs there a reason you have to use the opposite arm/hand to do the “active self myofascial release for the sternocleidomastoid muscle” exercise?
ОтветитьWhat town and state are you in? Do you take market place insurance?
ОтветитьGreat video, particularly mentioning the other side effects of this posture. A lot of people don't realise but forward head posture can literally cause havoc on the body over time. It might start at the neck, but tight neck muscles often refer into the head causing many different types of headaches (e.g. ache behind the eyes (tight occipitals) and in the masseter and temporalis causing TMJ) and even down into the shoulder causing impingement and scapula winging due to tight trapesius and levator scapula (causing scapula dyskinesis). I also like standing chin tucks against the wall (keeping proud chest posture) and massaging the muscles at the back of the neck by lying on a lacrosse ball.
ОтветитьNow, how can I lie on my back like that when I have forward head posture?? Because my head is lifted off the floor and I need a pillow for me head.
ОтветитьThe essence of these different approaches is: developing the muscles that keep you straight or in the right position compared to a stretch that lasts you a few minutes.
ОтветитьI recently noticed that my head is always up like i am looking up more than straight. I even seem unable to keep my head in a straight position. This is started when i started driving as i was trying to see the road under my car front and with the time it became my head normal position. I dont know if this is normal and how to fix it.
ОтветитьGreat video! How often do you recommend doing these exercises: Daily? Three times per week?
ОтветитьThe last two exercises are completely useless for people who cannot lay on the ground or maintain these postures because of back problems. The 1st one is great.
Dr. should have given her warning before she began
Does lying all day in bed , worsen posture?
ОтветитьHi Coach, I found your videos and this one is very interesting. Do you have any other video to fix advance kyphosis for elderly women who does not have the mobility or agility to get down onto the floor to lay there or do a table top pose to be able to flex the lumbar spine and extend the thoracic spine? I want to help my mom fix her advance forward head tilt posture as a result of a compression fracture. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques.
ОтветитьIf you have tos can these help ....such as the chin tucks
Ответитьhow often should you do this daily and weekly....your explanation makes so much sense
ОтветитьThis exercise can fix neck hump also ? tell me sir..
Ответить6 years ago I was diagnosed with iih (Idiopathic intracranial hypertension). I take a drugs called diamox to reduced my spinal fluid production. I'm not going to lie I spend around 12-16 hours per day in front of my computer for the past 10 years. Now my question is could my head posture affect how much spinal fluid goes into my head, could it be the reason for my high head pressure?
ОтветитьWhich is your app ??
ОтветитьScoliosis and back fused.......wish my son would have done these before his operation. Now he deals with a shoulder hump and constant nerve damage in his back causing itching and pain. Doctors do nothing to improve this. Years of this and seems no hope out there. His neck is tilted forward due to protruding hump on shoulder after operation
.
Thanks for the deep investigation to heal our ignored body needs.
Ответитьthank you all the way from the swiss alps
ОтветитьI just downloaded the app to do this routine (love the in-app assessment, by the way!), But I can't find the FHP routine. Can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
ОтветитьEither the peanut ball I ordered is too big, or my back has other issues because I cant lay back over it. It hurts way to much to put my weight into it, and feels like my lats will cramp if I force my back to bend all the way around it. In the video it looked easy, but this is impossible for me
ОтветитьTried this a number of times before seeing this video. When I do it, my right hand goes numb.
ОтветитьThank you so much for very professional exercises !
👍👍🙏
I am 15 and already have a prwtty noticeable case of it I dont know much about anything but i decided that the earlier i start trying to fix it the better it will be for me i hope this works
ОтветитьOn the first exercise, I get a lot of crackling in my shoulder on one side only. Do you have a comment on that?
ОтветитьI have a reversed cervical curve and a flat back. Any video for this?
Ответитьthank you very much for this. I developed very bad forward head posture over probably my whole lifetime due to chiari malformation & a syrinx involving all of my spine, also due to complications of other serious health issues and the not unusual lifelong history of medical neglect...all leads to depression etc and feeling like you have to hide away which probably makes it worse. Anyway... I will be doing some of these now - thanks. I won't be able to correct it as there's an ongoing cause, but i can reduce pain and stop it getting worse as fast.
ОтветитьHello, do you recommend these exercises for C-spine radiculopathy? Can it be helpful?
ОтветитьI've been watching a LOT of forward head posture videos of late and working on the exercises. My sense of what you're showing is that it's really good, BUT - it's very difficult to see just what you're doing with the last three exercises. The movements are small and without someone here with me, touching the areas involved, I can't be sure I'm doing what you're demonstrating. Or is the problem that I didn't watch the explanation but cut right to exercises? I'll go back and watch the whole thing.
ОтветитьThese are great! Should we do them every day? I will also check out whatever shoulder videos you have. I have impingement + a mild rotator cuff injury that never really goes away. I recently had surgery and my shoulders are sooo messed up from that still - can't do the forward flexion at all.
ОтветитьExcellent video..thank you🙏🏻
ОтветитьFantastic video, much gratitude, thank you so much.
ОтветитьHow long does it take to fix the dowagers hump? The pain is immediately relieved.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing.
ОтветитьThx!
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьThis was so helpful for understanding the dynamics of forward fold from mountain pose. Noticing where I was doing the forward head position while folding forward. Game changer right here ❤
ОтветитьIs it normal to feel very tired after this routine?
ОтветитьFor newbies like me, “t-spine” is short for “Thoracic spine”, which starts at the base of your neck and ends at the bottom of your ribs. 😉
ОтветитьAny advice for people who lift weights? I'm 31 and just found I had this forward head posture because I started to record my workouts (I did feel some tension for some time but I thought that tension on the neck/cervical was only sore muscles). We usually are advised to do some exercises (as instance hip thrusts, but not only) looking forward to prevent rib flaring but the chin is not tucked as it should. I'm more concern about the appearance of my back/neck tbh but I want to fix this as soon as possible to prevent possible future issues. Thanks in advance and great videos!
ОтветитьThank you so much 🙏
ОтветитьExcellent video! I appreciate the focus on deep muscluature. People NEED to know this stuff!
ОтветитьRegarding the segmental thoracic mob—how exactly do you do this with a foam roller? My mid back is really high off the ground and I’m not able to do the side bends. (In the meantime I have a peanut all in my Amazon cart) ! PS I just downloaded the ROM Coach app and I was horrified to learn I have a “mobility age” of 50 when I am only 38! I really look forward to doing the recommended exercises. Would the ones for “forward head posture” be in “upper body posture I” and “II”?
ОтветитьWow, really helpful and alleviating exercises!!! Thank you!!! 🙏
ОтветитьHave you encountered patients with sinus problems due to bad forward head posture?
ОтветитьRe: the wall exercise, what do yo do if your head is so far forward that you cannot put it and your back against the wall at same time?
ОтветитьThank you so much for your videos. I have Scheuemans Kyphosis and at the age of 62 I have been told by my Osteopath that it cannot be fixed, that I can work on mobility and strength but that the kyphosis itself cannot be fixed. I have a great deal of pain daily and some of your exercises would be too painful for me at this stage but I am keen to start working on your suggestions. I'm very interested in your thoughts. Thanks again.
ОтветитьYES on the car seats…it’s a constant battle while driving!!
