I can't believe Richard stole a necklace
ОтветитьThis is jolt, which is a third order derivative. 1st order is a vector velocity (change in position over time) measured in metres per second. 2nd order is acceleration (change in velocity over time) measured in metres per second squared. 3rd order is jolt (change in acceleration over time) measured in metres per second cubed.
ОтветитьThanks for the tips! My wife always tell me I drive jerky, so hopefully I will improve 😊
ОтветитьWish my driving instructor was like this.
Just had my first ever lesson, and he had me driving through after work traffic though main roads, intersections, roundabouts, backwards parking all within an hour of the first time behind the wheel.
I don't think I've felt anxiety like that ever in my life.
Too much explaining without moving and showing us practicaly,
ОтветитьMeanwhile me during my first lesson apply brake like I want to fully stop an Airbus A380 😂
ОтветитьI’m a learner and this was absolutely incredible.
ОтветитьSmooth is my style. Unfortunately in the US, the norm is to brake late and hard. Many will try to pass people that brake even a little early.
ОтветитьMy mum always stops at 101% capacity, rip my neck
ОтветитьThank you for good explaination.
ОтветитьI used to do this in my last car which was an automatic. I thought I was the only one who thought like this lol. Now I have my first stick and I feel like I need to learn all over again
ОтветитьDrive your car like you would a train.
ОтветитьBut I thought you got to put your foot on the brake when you stop.
ОтветитьIs it ill-advised to break on a bump or speed hump? I was advised to slow before the bump, let the car take you over it and don't break on them (unless absolutely necessary) as it puts more stress on the suspension over time. How accurate is that? I often see people get to the speed bump and slow mid speed bump.
ОтветитьI'd love to drive, but a Peugeot 107 would cost me £5,026.76 annually with a black-box :)
ОтветитьSo when I clutch in with these method?
ОтветитьMy instructor told me this morning I have to practice my breaking! And he was si pissed 😢
Ответитьmy instructor says im not braking hard enough
ОтветитьApproximately from how many meters fom the stoppage point should one start the breaking process?
ОтветитьThank you so much Richard, I was stressed, had my first lesson today and I was breaking harshly, tomorrow I will put theory into practice
Ответитьhad a drive around a quiet place with my dad in a narrowed although ive learned for few months, but absolutely nailed it thanks for your beginner guide, plus some driving sims as well as a car lover, cheers!
ОтветитьThanks you so much
ОтветитьMy instructor would say break smoothly but never explained how this was good
ОтветитьCool to see that im not alone doing this
Ответитьhad my first lesson today and stalled on a roundabout 😭😭
Ответитьthank you bro
ОтветитьThis could have been a 5 minute 7 minute video.
ОтветитьUk driving test is not easy i see some peaple go some where else to pass
ОтветитьI am looking for an instructor can I take lessons from you?
ОтветитьSo i should be easing into the brake like using the gas rather than flooring it if needed. Ive been told i should not be "riding the brake" as it grinds down the brake and i just dont care since it gives a smooth ride.
ОтветитьI used the coast technique for a couple of minutes on a offroad and the glow plug symbol started flashing, and right after I changed into a gear it disappeared, so is it bad to coast for a longer period? I drive VW Golf 5 1.9 TDI, I heard coasting could be bad for some cars!
ОтветитьOh you can just tap it lightly each time too that works
ОтветитьMany thanks mate, that was sooo helpful.
ОтветитьI know a guy who uses a paper cup filled with water instead of necklace. I heard he's a pretty good driver now helping his dad selling tofu
ОтветитьA very good video!! I wish my instructor was as good as you. He never explains anything but expects me to do every thing rightly
ОтветитьIn King Lord and my Master Jesus Name, Amen.
Ответитьyour videos help me alot
ОтветитьGod dam my instructor never explained that I should release the brake right before it stops, so I would always slowly push the brake until it reaches the end... And then it just stops as if I suddently hit the brake although I would start braking around 5-6 sec earlier
ОтветитьYou r excellent at your explanation
ОтветитьHow to do the chauffeur stop when stopping uphill or downhill? Release the brake at the stopping moment may result in rolling as the clutch is down. My instructor told me to clutch down first and then brake when going uphill, as the hill is already braking for us. But I just can't get the braking force right and it send me a jolt. Might be I just too afraid of rolling back?
ОтветитьHe's looking for u
ОтветитьI drive so good and my first driving test was last week she fail me about brake I don’t believe this is a good reason??
ОтветитьBreaking is really important especially downhill. Although I recently got the license (at 18), I started driving at the age of 13, because my dad made me drive forcefully to do deliveries at dawn. I had to go through a hill to the other side of the town to do deliveries. I was afraid to drive in the beginning and made many mistakes, but eventually I picked up. The trick is to listen to your car. I then learned toe and hill technique to drive better on hills. Now that I look back, my dad taught me how to brake efficiently indirectly. What he used to do was give me a cup of water to put in the cup holder. He told me that if I don't spill the water, the tofu that I used to deliver would not get spoiled. I still hate driving, but my friends with whom I work at a gas station part-time, tell me that driving is fun. They are a part of some local racing team called Akina Speed Stars. Sounds funny. Anyway, it's dawn already and I need to do deliveries otherwise my old man would give me hell. Ciao.
ОтветитьSmooth "progressive braking" is the way to slow down a vehicle, instead of slamming on the brakes all at once...
ОтветитьYes you do, all the love from Morocco, your tips helped me not stall so thank you, that was my biggest fear, you also helped me with hills, where I live there are hills everywhere.
Ответить6/6/22
Ответитьi can say i mastered this brake on manual but on automatic, car moves forward when you start to release the brake at the end, or either i bounce the car ever so slightly. in automatics, i have to put the gear in neutral to do this chauffeur finish. can this be done in drive gear in automatic transmission?
