nice tips.. but... I still don't know how to actually MAKE coffee. I know it's probably weird that I don't know how to make coffee, but I I've never liked it so I never bothered to learn. I'm trying to make it for my husband I just can't find a video to teach me. They all wanna show me how to make Cappuccinos and Macchiatos. I just want to make SIMPLE coffee.

I grind my own coffee but I use an electric grinder and an electric drip coffee maker. In Albuquerque if you don't use a water filter the water is so gross its undrinkable and I refuse to buy bottled water simply because of the politics of water monopolies. Basically, I agree that this is probably the best way to make coffee but for the average person trying to get a decent cup in a hurry this is not viable. I need a few cups of coffee and I don't have the time to grind everything by hand and do it in measured quantities. I appreciate this video but is there a video for real people?
