I think homemade clamps should achieve at least lightweight, easy use, low cost, maintainability, availability, scalability and simplicity

really nice idea on the swivel ends of the clamp.. On the back, if it has too much swivel, grind a smaller width grouve, a little further back, and use a smaller washer, or a piece of flat plate, drilled like a washer, split it in half, slide it over the all thread, and then tack it back together.. You can adjust the amount of swivel you want in your clamps.. Too much is a pain in the tail.. Not enough is not bad, as long as it spins easily.. Cheers.. Nice Clamps.. Also saw you converting them to parallel clamps..
Also a great idea.. Wouldn't take long to switch them back and forth and use them for either metal or glue ups.. Cheers Mate from the USA.. Nice Job.. Subbed!!
