Hold on, but after the phages kill the harmful bacteria, what if the phages that erupt from the carcass start hunting OUR important bacteria? I mean, the dont actually know that they're helping us. They can't think as they haven't a brain. So in theory, they could still cause our death... uh oh.

These things don't seem real. They seem like they were produced in a microscopic factory, by even tinier intelligent beings.

I’d thought something similar with cleaning materials. Making “bacteriophage” type soaps, essentially less of the above carpet bombing and keeping specific things and our good bacteria.
