I hand-lettered the words to Rhiannon in old-style calligraphy in high school for a project. I was not a calligraphy artist and it took me hours and hours to do. The teacher loved it so much she put it up on the wall in her classroom along with some other favorite projects. I saw it every day I was in her class. The last week of school I couldn't wait to ask her to take it down so I could take it home. Someone had stolen it.

Lol, Stevie is being a littler creative with her version of the story.
What actually happened was that the band wanted Linsey Buckingham and only Lindsey Buckingham. The expressly did not want Stevie.
But Lindsey told them that it was a package deal take it or leave it. He insisted Stevie join the band or he would not.
Obviously Stevie made the difference between the band being forgettable and a smash it but Mick and the band didn't know that prior to the offer.
And, Stevie repaid Lindsey's loyalty forty years later by insisting that if they don't kick Lindsey out of the band, then she would leave. And they did. And, because Stevie didn't like the way Lindsey smiled when she made a comment.

I'm 7 years behind Fleetwood Mac, fell in love at 16 with a 15 year old, in 1978, married her, two kids, she devorced me 38 years later as a narcissist. Stevie Nicks got me through it, thinking she had married a Narc too.

Stevie Nicks called herself tee-dee as a toddler which later became Stevie ! Her beautifully written song " Dreams " was the only #1 Billboard 100 hit for Fleetwood Mac. It is about the up and down relationship she had with Lindsay Buckingham . The song " Landslide " was about the death of her grandmother . It was also the FIRST song by Stevie and Fleetwood Mac to hit the Top 10 .. Her song ' Rhiannon " is considered one of the Top 500 songs in Rock history by Rolling Stone magazine . She is the only woman inducted in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice ( once as a solo artist and as a member of Fleetwood Mac ) . When Stevie and Lindsay joined Fleetwood Mac , they were considered the originators of the " Soft Rock " genre of music . Stevie designs her own bohemian type wardrobe . She mainly wore white in the 70s and 80s to exemplify her angelic persona and mysticism . She mainly wears Black to make her appear slimmer . People ! Magazine has a special issue dedicated to the Rock Goddess about her life and times up to turning 75 in May 2023 .

She didn't "join one of the most famous bands". She was a huge part of what made that band famous. I love Christine, John, Mick and Lindsay, but without Stevie, it wouldn't have never reached the level it did.

And here we are, ten years later and Stevie Nick's absolutely wrecks any chance of a (successful) Fleetwood Mac tour b6 refusing to sing on the tour if Lindsey Buckingham is part of the tour. Stating that she just can't get along with him. HAH!
While I'm certain that Buckingham isn't the easiest person to get along with, sounds to me like the real problem is Nicks.

Wow...hard to believe a bunch of old hens sitting around squawking about how bad men are. Typical woman, always a victim no matter how wide they spread them legs.

Nothing about the music matters to her, because it was all Buckingham's doing with little to no credit because of her hogging the limelight. Notice all she talks about is the interpersonal drama - f'ing drama queen.

She and Fleetwood Mac along with Linda Rondstat, The Eagles and a few others produced the Southern CA sound of the early 1970s...country rock. What a great place is was at that time. Ghetto culture wasn't even a problem. Sadly, it's a contrast to what it is now and has been for the last 30+ years.
