Sowing Climbing Bean Seeds

Someone who knows the best way to start a seed. As the embryo uses up most of its energy just to germinate and break through. And will soak mine overnight in a weak solution. Am here because seed packet says not to water two days after planting. And have other plants that need watering in Summer heat. Will stick my neck out and plant in damp soil after soaking.

Too soak or not too soak this is the question ?

Might not apply to beans but I’ve always worked on the principle of not growing vegetables in same location as last season .

MY broad beans look more flat and larger than those Vasili.... were yours a different variety or something?
