I’d like to thank the person who invented denim jeans for making this video possible. They are a jeanius!
ОтветитьDiesel.
ОтветитьHarry, APC my friend. Faultless for the price.
ОтветитьI think one of the battles of well-fitting jeans, especially in classic denims, is that we're applying the fit and movement expectations of a wool or cotton smart-casual trouser to a fabric weight and seam construction which was never originally intended to fit that way. It's a case of "style" and "fit" becoming conflated on a garment type that wasn't historically originally designed to fit, fall, or move in the same way as we now want it to.
ОтветитьI went into a Levi shop and I tried on a 36", 34", 32", waist and they all fitted me precisely the same. The sales girl was like "yeah, I know- it's mental." 😂
ОтветитьLevis❤️
Ответить502 are my go to
Ответитьjust ordered a pair of Iron Heart 666s and cant wait for them to arrive. crazy expensive even for selvage jeans but after trying them on in the past I know they are amazing
ОтветитьAll Denim Jeans looking very premium and so good. If I could take them!
ОтветитьHey bro, what's the background track??
ОтветитьWeekday run so large I’m usually a 29 and had to get a 27
ОтветитьPaying 200 to 500 dollars for a pair of jeans is ridiculous. No one makes better jeans than Levi, Lees, or Wranglers. They are around 50-60 USD per pair.
ОтветитьPaige are fantastic imo!
Ответитьthis dude think we're mad out of money
ОтветитьI’ve tried loads of different makes of jeans, generally Levi’s are ok and wranglers too. Last year I bought some jeans from M&S dark blue and to my surprise they fit great and a year later still look good. Problem with all modern jeans is that the rise isn’t enough.
ОтветитьHow about Calvin Klein?
ОтветитьOrigin jeans! Can’t go wrong
Ответитьacne studios and closed are the best jeans
ОтветитьLevis 513 / 514
ОтветитьThe link for the acne studios jeans is not working. Can I please get the ID for the jeans or the style description
ОтветитьNudie Jeans and Naked & Famous are the only brands I go for
Ответитьno diesel jeans :(
ОтветитьYou should check out Dondup as well, love thier jeans but idk how hard they are to find outside Italy
ОтветитьUseful ❤
Ответитьi dont buy regular jeans any more. I only go for japanese selvedge denim. The quality is top notch and so is the fit. There are many brands to choose from. I rather buy one pair a year that i know its gonna last a long time and ots made in the us or europe rather than asia, than 5 pair a year of inferior quality. That beign said, japanese jenas can get very expensive but there is no need to spent more than 300-350 euros on a pair. I d say you can find a lot of good staff in the 200-300 price range.
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between 501 93 and 514
Ответитьhows the sizing comparison between the levis and acne, are the waist similar in sizing or does acne feel a bit tighter? I wear 32 in levis and was wondering if I should order the same size in acne.
ОтветитьI have been wearing 501s since the late 1960s. The ones made between 1993-1999 are the best. Return the Levi's 501s in this video, they have obviously fake horizontal wear lines and a hole in the knee. That is ridiculous. With jeans button flys are better than zippers. Get your jeans dark blue and fade them yourself so they look authentic.
ОтветитьThis is the best title I've ever seen
ОтветитьBro get Lee 101 , you will never wear any other denim 🥶
ОтветитьWow, a bit of sleeping being done on this title
ОтветитьI like Rag & Bone and Hiroshi Kato
ОтветитьIve hit this discount rack for years at a expensive boutique close to where I live. Got to own all kinds of denim I'd never be able to afford from Nudie, Naked and Famous and random small brands making selvedge jeans. My favorite have been Neuw jeans though. Their cuts are a bit strange compared to some levi's but they're great, very well made. Incredibly durable too, one pair I have has been through complete hell and back. Not a ripped seam or piece of missing hardware on them.
ОтветитьLevi’s are my fav jeans tbh.
Ответить80s and 90s levis are the best and also pretty affordable
ОтветитьThe best buy jeans to get are the ones from Jack&Jones and I recomend the Glenn and Tim models, very nice slim fits. I don't like straigh jeans. As for brands I am very happy with Tommy, Hackett, CK are fine, I want to get Diesel, but they are a bit too expensive.
ОтветитьMy Orslow jeans are my all time favorite. I like a bit of a slimmer leg so I go with the 107 but I know the 105's are great as well. If you're looking for a bit of a darker color than the pair you picked up I would suggest their 2 year wash. Orslow's washes are outstanding and their 2 year wash is a great mid color option.
ОтветитьI've given up on modern jeans and now just buy retro jeans from specialist vintage denim places now, mainly levis, Wranglers, Joker and Diesel, they might be 20+ years old and used but if you pick the right ones they are spotless and come from back in the day when quality control was better and there was no skimping on material as they came from a time when denim was denim there's no elastine to be seen, if I wanted to wear womens jeans I'd buy womans jeans. Plus you are only ever going to pay £30 tops usually much cheaper.
ОтветитьPaige Lennox. Done.
ОтветитьIf Nudie had a button fly across the board, I'd wear nothing else. I found them a while ago and couldn't believe I'd missed out on some of their older pieces. Awesome message behind them as a company too. I like that in a company. plus Rag and Bone do really good jeans too. Seems like you ran into the "levis" problem with the nudie pair. Have to get the right fit! Lol.
ОтветитьMay I ask what brand is the shoe?
ОтветитьAgree with a lot of the comments re: Japanese selvedge. You can get them in any style, colour and weight. Get a pair of slim/ultra slim Iron Hearts.
ОтветитьGood video and new brands for this American. The Acne jeans are cool, but $380 here in the USA. On my teacher's salary, that's just too much for one pair of pants.
Ответить'like that pink stitching"....you mean Selvedge Demin?..lol, you should a vid on top quality Japanese demin
ОтветитьAs a rule, I wouldn’t spend more than 100 bucks on non selvedge denim. Any designer/company that tries to tell you their denim is a premium product, and doesn’t use premium denim is a rip off, IMO.
Sure, there is cheap selvedge out there. But all the best, most interesting denims are selvedge. If you have cash to spend, look for genuine premium, not fake premium.
Tiger of Sweeden makes great jeans, they are on the pricey side. But worth it.
Ответитьto me as I got older the more I stay away from raw jeans because they are too much of a hassle to break in. nowadays I just stick to levis made and crafted jeans for the comfort and decent quality.
ОтветитьGas
ОтветитьI loved your sneakers, what model are they???
ОтветитьI always thought it was down to the cotton myself after collecting 120 pairs over years just like leather grade 1 is crap 5 is the best with jeans wasn't it the weight of the cotton heavy cotton crap lighter cotton more expensive, cannot stand heavy denim does not wear well or feel or wash good, favourite out of all were the original Pepe jeans, followed by either 501 or Replay, still have original bench, unfortunately price of jeans hit bottom years back so the original brands suffered in price all my jeans did cost £100 pounds plus one pair £300 but now you can pick up most brands for around £30 to £40 pounds so you know how the street works who wants to wear £30 pound jeans.
