The big problem for me is sourcing in pakistan.
I have heard and suggested that sourcing from Alibaba can be expensive in the beginning when it comes to shipping

How is it possible to advertise cheap products profitably? The math doesn't add up.

Let's assume (based on my experience in platforms and online averages) CTR of 0.03, CPM of $8.00 (based on TikTok, Facebook would be $15-20), and store conversion rate of 0.02. This comes out to be a cost per conversion of $13.33 per sale. Math is cost per conversion = CPM / (1000 * CTR * StoreConversionRate).

How can you expect to sell this product above $13.33 to make a profit? Specially when you throw in free shipping, which it seems you definitely will not be able to.

We have that product in the Philippines (asia) actually. It's very good product! :) I don't see it often in western countries though.

I am currently trying to build a brand. Ive spent countless hours learning nearly every concept of online money making method a beginner can learn. I have observed about myself that I have a hard time starting. I’ve literally spent years thinking and learning, so conceptually, I know about as much as you can LoL, but experience-wise (where it matters), Im pretty useless.

I lucked out with free access to a course that provided a wealth of knowledge on how to build an online business, and when I was going through that course, I got a website up, with a blog post and some affiliate links, but nothing came of it, and I didn’t continue working on the brand.

I believe that I overcomplicated it for myself. I will sit down to start doing something, almost immediately get stuck, and 2 hours later I’m still watching YT shorts or distracting myself in some other way. Then I think to myself, I guess I’ll start tomorrow, and that cycle repeats.

I’ve been thinking recently that maybe I’m just bad and breaking down tasks into more manageable parts, so I set out some tasks to do, and as I was doing them, my mind changed on a few things, which just made me procrastinate even further. And my latest failure, I started writing a post for an affiliate product, and didn’t save it, went to continue writing, and my work was gone… LoL😂 cant catch a break.

I said all that to say, I understand that even though I get this stuff conceptually, it isn’t easy to start doing. I’m following this series, even though your dropshipping and I plan to start as an affiliate in my niche, because I recognize that I suck at starting, and you are kinda guiding me through that process. So I appreciate your time.

Eventually, I have a few things in my niche, that I have designed and want to get manufactured to sell, I have a course that I want to write/teach, and I have a few ideas on how to make a subscription/monthly membership inside my niche, (see big ideas/overthinking) which makes it hard for me to know where to start, and when to continue. I’m going to try and follow along with these videos and just start with affiliate marketing, and I’ll post updates in the comment section if I’m not just utterly failing.

Around the 56 minute mark you mention you want to confirm the supplier can't dropship before asking the rest of the questions. Is there a specific reason as to confirming whether this can be done or not?Cheers!
