NOTICE: I Formatted my USB drive. I was under the presumption this would remove everything associated with "Ventoy." However, "Formatting"" the USB drive did NOT remove Ventoy. When Ventoy is placed on the USB drive, Ventoy creates its own partition. This partition is NOT "Formatted" when the USB drive is "Formatted." Apparentlly the only way to get rid of Ventoy from a USB drive is to "Merge" all the partitions, and then do a "Format" of the USB drive. I was going to use MemTest86 on its own - without Ventoy. So, MemTest86 was placed on the one partition that was new and had been formatted. But, when I used MemTest86 it showed up under "Ventoy," even though MemTest was on the other partition.

QUESTION: Can Hiren's run from a USB formatted in NTFS and with a SSD in MBR and Legacy mode? I simply cannot get this to work.

DISAPPOINTMENT: I turned a USB 3.1 drive into a Ventoy drive. I put ISO files for both Windows 10 and Hiren's Boot CD on this Ventoy USB drive. I would get the Ventoy drive to start up, but when I would start Hiren's Boot CD I could never get Hiren's Boot CD to "boot" up at all. I tried in Windows Normal Mode and waited a half hour, but nothing ever happened. I then tried that other Windows mode. In this mode it tells you what "percentage" of the files have "Loaded" up. But, after a half hour my files never got any higher than 1% of being loaded up. BOTTOM LINE: Ventoy and Hiren's Boot CD are both BIG DISAPPOINTMENTS! Other people have said Ventoy only works if "Security Boot Mode" is turned "Off." I couldn't even get that to work with Ventoy. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I downloaded win11 iso. Mounted it, modified a file so it would skip hardware check, then created back to iso. But when modded win11iso ia on ventoy usb stick it says iso not bootable. How can i fix that issue?

Both Medicat and Hiren are both excellent and you can't go wrong with either one, however 3 antivirus programs vs the 1 medicate gives edges out the medicat. I don't see the reason to not have both of them. I have a usb I got from a guy at a computer hospital with all of the inhouse programs, with Hiren's I'll have 3 usb tools for no reason. I might be about to start my own computer hospital. 😂

Ventoy is incredible I used it about a year ago and I also used Hirens both excellent programs, and great video!

Ventoy is absolutely great!!! I highly recommend it. 😊
