The precision you have with that axe is intimidating but so cool

What is the name of that huge ass saw you used? Holy shit looks like something from dr. Sues
Ответить🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏👍👍 muito bom
Ответитьlong up saw bueno :]
Complimenti. Grande artigiano.
The best part is that he even took the time to reply to what seems to be every single comment left on this video... Awesome 👍
Edit: ohh and how could I forget moose putting his mark on the video 😂😂
parabéns amigo
It truly is a work of art but I think I will stick with the old way. burn em out!
Even this long video does not begin to capture the amount of work this represents. My hats off to you !
ОтветитьYa
Dude... You got my thumbs up for talking to the dog...
I really admire your talent for cutting the clips at the right time - it's just long enough that we get a clear idea of what you're doing, so it leaves me with no unanswered questions! It's also not long enough that it's getting boring - I have never seen a video that hits that sweet spot before ❤️❤️❤️
Though I'm more impressed with your woodworking skills and your shop 😂
I thought he was about to starting doing inlays :(
Hi from Brasil 🇧🇷 Sensacional!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Ответитьimagine walking into this guy's backyard and just seeing a bunch of logs
being like "oh okay... logs.."
great job on the project, all jokes aside! 😂❤
Moose is just being a good boi by watching out for bad guys.
Chris, I love the huge probably Japanese pull saw. What a hoot. Man, they make band saw now that take some of the fun away, but I'm laughing my ass off watching you saw that log down. Great job, I mean it. Eric Sloan would have appreciated this one. Love the wing ax shown too. Great use of primitive tools to do a fine cabinetry job. Well done Sir. And I thought I was brave making a huge dovetail blanket chest without any modern tools, hardware etc. All Summer long with planes , chisels, and even the dovetail jig made by hand. Lesson learned: Do Not Use Yellow Pine with hand tools!! Mein Gott!
Great job here Chris. I use a hand scop instead of the long handled adze, but I have to hand it to you, this wood has no chance against that adze and your finesse. Nice job. If people ONLY KNEW what Real Handcrafted bowls involved.
Amazing that this took you only 1 hour and 32 minutes ! LOL. Much respect for your hand skills.
Dude! I'm lovin your tools ! I bet I have a hundred chisels! But you still have styles that I don't! And your axe, ads and draw knife collection is impressive ! Excellent craftsmanship!
You should do a video on your shop and tools ! Most don't have a clue to what you have, treasures !
Awww Moose
It's really fascinating to watch you make these. Also laughed at trying to explain to the dog it is an ASMR video 😂
Que hermosa pieza👉👍👈
Excelente.
Gracias.
Why not use that whaleback saw?
Not even half way and really impressed at the detail and time taken to layout. More than every other video watched, giving more insight.
Quation, how much time before each bowl do you spend sharpening and honing your axes? Also, so dang accurate on swing with large axe.
Where in the world did you find such a large , long handled bowl gouge?!!!
I love the irony of the shirt saying “electricity is overrated” while then recording this and posting it on the internet
I can only dream about a shop like this
No power tools, give that man a cigar
The wood is very beautiful
Loved the video, it would be super helpful if you could link to the tools you use.
I didn’t find this to be as satisfying as small hand carvings, but good lord this was impressive! I loved the fussing at the dog cause it was an ASMR video ( my kind of humor) and how there is a most likely, handmade jig for everything. I’ll be subbing for sure. Thanks for the content!
Great work - much physical strength is demanded . Fitness is a must . Keeps one young 😂. Never saw such an ornament before- the result convinces !
Ответитьgood job beautiful
I once watched a video of a forest service crew that only used hand saws to buck. The lead woman said if you don't have 6" shavings coming out of the cut your saw is dull.. I've yet to achieve that. I wonder if I need to curve my rakers more.
Nice work with the string. I was clearly using the wrong string as mine would stretch and I couldn't get consistent results. I tried using picture hanging wire but that cut into my pencil
Great idea adding those prongs to your bar clamp!
I'm simply asking out of curiosity, not that I know better; wouldn't it be easier to split the log using an axe?
I love that you left the dog barking in the video. It set my dog off. 😂
