the switches look like alps intergrated domes alot probably where they got the idea from since alps integrrated dome was the same shape case except black with the same slider color and style but i guarantee niz doesent suck like them i tried them my self very pillowing feeling like you said not my thing though

I want a nice sound of a mechanical keyboard, not get an electro capacitor (?) keeb. This is like BMW blasting fake engine sound through the speakers to have a nice engine sound. No no no, petrol heads want to hear the real engine and THAT should sound awesome. I want to hear a real mechanical switch board and THAT should sound awesome.

thock is the sound you make when you pucker your lips, and de-press your tongue from the roof of your mouth to make the “thock” sound. it’s also the sound of wood being knocked and resonating

The good: Take keycaps off, just lubing the stems of the switches is enough to make this board feel and sound amazing, far better than my 500$ time consuming mechanicals. In addition, put some 2mm foam type double sided tape under the spacebar and wow. Also tape mod and some foam seems to help a bit, not that it needs a lot of help.The less good: The original keycaps are not good tho (niz micro84ec(S), 2019?), very hard plastic...would love to change them out, but where to get that spacebar...(hit me up @Hipyo Tech) and my board came warped from the box, but you can sorta press it down your desk to 'unwarp' weird, she/he/they/them were prolly cold, they kept their shape kinda...What really helps in all boards is a pour of (molding) silicone in the case, but unless you have it around already it might not be worth it, especially here where there is pretty much a 5mm thick (thock?) silicone membrane between top plate and pcb
