I got a pair of Lugz around 2002 because they advertised them all the time on Monday Night Raw and as a rambunctious 17 year old who dove head first into the bling-era rap culture, they were the shoes to have. I remember showing up to school with them feeling like king shit.

If Timbs have 400 grams of warming material how do people wear them in anything but winter time. I have Columbia boots with 200 grams and i get sweaty in them when it's not really cold.

I have a pair of 20 year old Lugz, they are real leather, have a good lining and are much thicker and heavier than the new ones. The fake leather actually stays new looking so I'm fine with it. Plus they are cheaper now.

I get my boots from big 5 and I was curious what the most comfortable boot would be I need a boot to last longer than 3 months? Not sure how long a boot should last?

I have a hard time reconciling people caring that much what brand of shoe someone else wears. Who asked them for their opinion? What makes them think someone cares about their I'll informed opinion? My lugz lasted longer than my last pair of timberlands . Still using them today for work ( no tears or holes ) just got new ones to go out ✅ LUGZ OVER TIMZ!

When I was in highschool I had a pair of sketchers that I later learned were Timberland knock offs. They lasted me till graduation and I don't think I actually wore them out. I don't remember what happened to them but they lasted longer than any other pair of shoes I wore growing up. I wasn't big on all the shoe brands back then so to me they were just a pair of comfy boots.

I have the Lugz Convoys in blue. I wouldn't get the wheat color because knockoff Timberlands are corny, but blue boots aren't super common and they were cheap, so why not? I gotta say, they're tougher than I would have guessed. You definitely know you're not making a lifelong investment here, but they're decent for what they are, and they look pretty sharp. They have other weird colors, too - bright red, black with white soles, etc. Probably worth the 50 bucks for the novelty value if you're into that sort of thing.

Lugz are complete garbage. Lasted like 3 months in a kitchen (part time on weekends only) before the outsole was completely wrecked. Tried to waterproof with mink oil. I guess fake leather doesn't take waterproofing.

Lugz and well Fila's back 90's were better back in the day these days they been cheapened out over the years.

In Philly they'd definitely roast you for wearing the cheap non premium Time for sure!!!
