How To FLIP RESET In Rocket League from Beginner To Advanced

Is it bad when I use just normal air roll instead of left or right air roll

Is it good if I get like every 1 out of 7 flip reset if I'm platinum 2 with less than 60 hours in the game?

It’s crazy that the game has evolved so much in the last year to the point where I’m c2 and I feel like I need to learn flip resets already for that exact scenario you spoke about near the end of the video. I feel like I can’t score with a regular air dribble or double touch if there are 2 defenders back, I’m just hitting backboard touches for my doubles and they often defend them, or I hit shots they save because there is 2 sometimes 3 on the goal line.

I know it isn't but I feel like this is the biggest bullshit to exist. It's crazy. I'm upper C1 to mid C2, depending on the consistency of my mates yet I am too stupid to hit one. The literal worst part about it is having to be able to control your car upside down and not confuse the now inverted directions. It is so off throwing it just doesn't make sense..

As Wayton said, you don't need flip reset to break out from diamond. Practice simple rolling shots, and AIR ROLL SHOTS. If you practice these two every day you are gonna tear through diamond.

Imagine talking about flip resets and stuff and saying forcing high is a higher level tactic.. bro this is a basic skill a lot of low plat players use. It just instinctively came to me at a low level and I only started a few months ago. Forcing high just forces players to rush their plays and limits their chances of success.

I don't know if this applies only to other people other than me, but today I started learning how to flip reset and air rolling towards the ball after the setup made it easier for me to get a reset
