Thanks guys I'm a noob too I fly my DJI FPV but you showed me options I'm doing goggles tomorrow with some practice and flipping the switch so I can do rolls and what not I'm excited I'm so hooked. I even bought 2 drone builds thanks for showing the new guy as I'm one to.

I noticed the physics are off in the DJI Virtual Flight app. I was able to update the settings to be more real. In the app go to custom settings>Flight Dynamics Model (M Mode)>Physical Parameters dropdown>Change from Old Version Dynamics Model to Relative Real. This made the physics function similar to the Liftoff app. I am currently using both to learn to fly manual mode. I like that I use the goggles with the Virtual Flight app so I get used to having them on. Liftoff has more options for locations to fly

Appreciate the maiden manual mode video. I just got my first FPV and I'm sure it will be a while before I go to manual. I have flown RC nitro helicopters for a few years and there seems to be some resemblance to that, but I plan on taking my time and working through the Normal then Sport first. I do have to say, I don't think my manual maiden flight will be at an airport with real planes and people around.

Have question about the remote control sticks why other FPV flyers tighten the two screws on the bottom of the controller two for the right and two for the left Does this help with flying in manual mode ,Thanks

Taking the DJI FPV in full manual today for the 2nd time. This is extremely helpful! I wish the fpv Sim worked on Android. Thanks for that DJI. But this is truly the best fpv trainer kwad. Can't wait to master it then get my first 5 inch.

I don't think this drone should be flown in manual. Get an actual freestyle drone. That is.easily fixed when crashed. This is 100% not meant for that purpose. I do have both so I know what I'm talking about,

After going through the commercial drone rating I find it very odd that you are flying at an airport over a runway. Really odd... I see no radio so you can communicate with other traffic in the area. Frankly I don't think you know what you are doing. You don't even mention your surroundings. What if all of your viewers now go fly their drone at their local airport..??..??

Just if you're going to teach somebody you need to buy the brace arms that they sell at DJI for the fpv it'll definitely be more you'll snap one of the arms off and then no more

Man I tried manual mode last week and crashed. Ended up burning out a motor and had to replace. Today I tried to fly again but I was shaking too much. I wish I could learn like this guy. If it crashes..... oh well

I got my DJI FPV today and I'm having a hard time doing the initial setup. First, the app wouldn't load on my android phone so I tried to DL it to my wife's. It did. But then I hooked everything up only to be told that firmware was out of date. Ugh. Then why have still on the DJI DL page? 🤦‍♂️What version should I DL and where do I find it? Also, the app is in Chinese. How do I change that? I've had a lot of drones but this setup issue is just nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Awesome channel. I definitely will come here for tips, tricks, and advice. Cheers. ✌

I think it was Nigel Mansel who said it best: "In F1, you should be thinking strategy and not about driving the car. Driving must be automatic." To a certain degree in FPV freestyle, you need to get to a point where you no longer have to think about flying. The quad must become like an extension of you.

Watching you guys was almost as much fun as flying. I've flown slow 5-inch drones indoors after flying simulator for couple of months to get my "thumbs right". This video gives me courage to upscale with my DJI FPV system. Absolutely love you videos! Simulation is absolutely addictive. So much fun. I will get thru our rainy season and be ready for my outdoor FPV debut within a couple of weeks. Keep up the good work guys!

I wouldn't let him use my drones! You can tell he doesn't care at all.

My FPV can't even fly a quarter of a mile without losing signal. I almost lost it because the screen went black and I had to drive to get the signal back up. Really upset that I wasted $1500 on this drone.

Stupid fact: the Sim is only available on IOS Devices. So for Android users there is no Way around of Steam. Shame on you DJI.

Just wanted to say watching these videos has been very helpful for me. I just bought my DJI FPV a few days ago, and knew I wanted to learn to do manual flight. After watching these videos, I felt confident enough to do my first manual flight this evening and everything went awesome. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series as well.
