Great video Greg, I am replacing my motherboard and CPU because my CPU was damaged when the it stuck to the cooler. I had B450 board and Ryzen 5 3600 . I replacing it with a B550 and Ryzen 5 5600 X . I just upgraded to Windows 11 back in March and it was a nightmare! I was wondering since the platforms are similar ,can't I try replacing the platform and see how it goes?

Nice clean, informative video. Good to mention power supply. Looks like a computer that is new. My case has lots of dust. Is there a BEST way to get the dust out? Lots of air moving around blowing out dust or vacuuming can cause static electricity. Should I have a ground wire or grounded screen in the air path to short the charge? Computer off and unplugged. I used DDU and it wrecked my computer. Luckly I had a C drive backup which I overwrote my C drive with. Don't trust it.

After I have swapped my graphics card (I'm going from AMD to NVIDIA), do I go to Windows Update and let it install what drivers it wants first, then do a manual update of the newest drivers or do I just go straight to me installing GEforce and letting it install all the drivers?

installing CPU, Mobo and RAM is practically a new PC. Installing a new Windows actually makes sense.

But what if I only am getting a new MOBO, say, a A520M to a B550 or X570. I don't think a windows is neccesary, is it?

I"m staying with ndvia and intel still and upgrading my motherboard from z390 to z590 (MSI) . I will wipe drivers but i will keep my SSD to boot windows and i will be deleting doing an uninstall except for windows. Do i really need to reinstall windows?
