2022 Subaru WRX; Stock exhaust versus optional STI exhaust

Hard for me to tell much difference in the video. If I had ordered my '22 I probably would have ordered the STI exhaust despite it's high cost and called it good. The '22 Premium I bought was off the lot and had the base exhaust so I swapped in the ETS muffled axle back and I'm overall pretty happy with it. Cold start-up is WAY loud but once the idle comes down it sounds really good - loud enough to hear it with hardly any drone but not at all obnoxious IMO.

sounds almost the same but the Sti exhaust has a little bit deeper tone

They're both too quite for me personally thats why i went with an invidia R400 catback

Is there any performance/efficiency benefit with the OEM STI exhaust upgrade or is it just louder?

I just get the aftermarket exhaust for that price

1700$ for muffler only 😂😂😂 my remark full Catback was 1400$ !
