I was in high school when this sketch aired (which is crazy by the way). I was also in theatre. Back then, I thought that it wasn’t anything like how theatre is. Looking back after having been out of high school for a little bit now… it was exactly like that. All of my classmates were in some way or form the cast in this video. I’m just glad I survived that melodrama lol. Man, there were some dramatic people in that class. I was always more of an observer than anything else, so I would watch the absurdity of what some of the more “popular” ones would say. Frankly, sometimes it was like a war zone and I’m glad I got out when I did (Covid Senior 🥶💀). Gotta love the weirdly true stereotypes: all the theater girls dating one mildly cool dude because he’s chill like that, a theatre teacher that showed huge amounts of favoritism, and overall feelings of being a teenager in general. I’m so happy I’m in my 20s now lol. Not that I have life figured out, but at least I’m not angst ridden and heartbroken 😎

Pretty sure I say "overshot the runway" at least once a week.
