Ocean floor for sure.
ОтветитьCompanies that sell drinks in bottles in plastic could be making them thinner. That would reduce plastic pollution and cut costs
ОтветитьIt is killing marine life
Ответить90% of people including children are obese, very overweight, or overweight, and very, very few people can walk 5 miles non-stop.
Put out cereal dispensers in all public schools.
Nearly 100% of ocean garbage comes from poor countries that dump it in their local rivers.
Don't feel guilty, just support those new companies that are scooping up garbage out of the 1,000 rivers containing almost all garbage.
They turned it into food.
ОтветитьWe've got to start to didposing of plastic responsibly, even it were jus meled down and conglomerated into blocks that could be buried somewhere this would be a great improvement.
ОтветитьClimate change is totally different from plastics pollution which is being done by human activity. Because climate change is not by human activity but by God, warning us all that the end times is at your door.
ОтветитьWe need to penalize the companies for selling the plastics. They are the ones making the money off this.
ОтветитьThe storm and tornado take items to ocean
ОтветитьWow ! Unreal!
ОтветитьWhat about the fishing industry causing the worst forms of plastic pollution.
ОтветитьI remember sometimes camping at this place we called Garbage Beach in Hawai'i. The garbage was more sun bleached and rubbed down like sea glass, and rather pretty in terms of plastic trash. You could see that so much of had come from Asia based on writing on some objects. As well, some you could see was from the 90s or 80s. Craziness...
ОтветитьWhy not make cheap car companies mass manufacture robots at the rate of 10 million units a day and have them programmed with AI that cleans up 🏖️ beaches and neighbourhood streets 24/7 non-stop. The operation and maintenance of which will create innumerable Jobs.
Ответитьnot all garbage floats, duh, the rest is dumped
ОтветитьHmm.. must be dark plastic energy
ОтветитьWhose responsible? Just dumping garbage in the ocean, dumping waste, toxic or otherwise into the waterways, hopeless 💔
ОтветитьSOON PLASTIC WILL REPLACE WHALES & FISH IN THE SEA 🌊 🛼🛞🧳🎈⚽️📀🪣🪠💊💄🏀🏈👟🏏🪅🧤 🌊🌊
ОтветитьThe fish are probably consuming some of it. I've seen cows here in my local area eat plastic that blows into the pastures. Even animals are better at cleaning up liter than humans.
ОтветитьI’m sure Jesus will save us. Let’s not burden the oil companies and manufacturers with regulations.
ОтветитьWe should just stop using plastic all together we have the technology and people we just have to put the time into making something safer
ОтветитьI always pick up garbage but i feel after i put it in a plastic bag and throw it away then what happends ?
ОтветитьThe only visual evidence for this claim that I've managed to find online are photos and videos of floating garbage the size of a football field or two. Where's the vidual evidence of this "Pacific Garbage Patch" twice the size of Texas and why can't one find it online? Does it even exist?
ОтветитьJoin us in supporting the Combat Plastic Pollution Tax!
ОтветитьBecause it sinks?
ОтветитьIf corporations would us glass and paper in place of plastic we would be better off. What happened to returnable bottles? I guess it's easier to blame the peasants
ОтветитьAll nonsense 😂😂
ОтветитьLots of speculation and guessing. Good to see some answers. The great Pacific garbage patch is what, some 90% from
China and India. Did I remember that correctly? If so, perhaps better to donate to someone working in those nations than trying to ban straws or bags locally.
“Twice the size of Texas”
Proceeds to draw a circle sides of continental United States…
I have news for you, the patch that you show near the west coast of America is not from America. Most of it has been shown to come from Asia, especially China. You seem to have intentionally left that out of your story.
ОтветитьThe reason 99% of the supposed plastic is missing is because it was likely never there.
ОтветитьThis planet's health should be humanity's top priority above everything else. It is our home Not sure why billionaires want to fly to a non-life planet like Mars when we live on paradise...if we just clean it up. Wish billionaire would invest in this planet. Wish society would put the health of the planet as a top priority. I heard from someone who just got back from the Indo Pacific islands and they said the island beaches are littered with plastic, washed ashore. There is no excuse for humanity to not resolve this problem.
ОтветитьIf we were to just ban plastic bags and bottles, the world would be MUCH cleaner.
ОтветитьI don't get it. Plastic is by no means a necessity...BAN IT. Vendors should be sued for being the opposite of help by collecting recycling money while preventing recycling
ОтветитьFrom my childhood days, I have been dreaming of starting a FMCG mega Corp that has the entire supply chain from production to distribution that only refills your container, be it detergent liquid or milk rations. Customers would have to bring a non plastic container, get it filled and pay up just for what they get. No shiny sachets and wrappers, no packaging waste. If at all any packaging is needed, it would be bio degradable, the ones that simply disintegrates in water and doesn't poison the water.
ОтветитьTwice the size of texas yet no satellite photos. There isn't proof of this...
ОтветитьSeems like and endless cycle unless all plastic is non existent. We pick up the trash and put them back in to plastic bags that will potentially end up back on the same beaches we just cleaned.
ОтветитьDefinitely concerning this production of plastic if not getting banned
In the end of video, seeing many black plastic trash bags to carry other plastic trashes, is so sad
They recently discovered new rocks from microplastic sedimentation in the Brazilian island of Trinidade
Nobody loves in this small and insulate island in the middle of South Atlantic
Did you just skip over that shoreline plastic eroding the beaches and the cause of concrete shortages?
ОтветитьGreat video but the lady commentating sounds like a robot lol
ОтветитьNothing will help Unless whole world come together and start dealing with plastic.
Ответитьi see the long term solution being to tax plastic producers, they will try to pass the cost to consumers, that's where we subsidise and invest in plastic alternatives, like biodegradable plastics like seaweed based plastics for instance
ОтветитьGoogle Earth won't show it. Imo they should show how filthy humans can be.
Ответить1 more evidence that global warming is only a myth
ОтветитьNow there are worms that eat plastic changing them into an organic substance. Also there's a bacteria, and an enzyme, that both eat plastic too.
ОтветитьThis is why landfills are a good thing. Plastic came from oil in the ground, back under the ground it shall go. Washed up as plastic sand is nobody's idea of a good time. There needs to be a verified supply chain for disposing of materials, laundering as recycling has got to end.
