i never got called on after the teacher realized there was no way in H*ll i would Know the answer. She just let me sleep on my desk.
ОтветитьIn elementary school as we were learning multiplication I realized that take the number subtract and that is the tens column, subtract the number from ten, that is the ones column, So 9*3 == 2 and 7, rendering 27. That sped up problem solving. I built a few other heuristics, all of which gave me an edge over my classmates. I was such a jerk I never told anybody.
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the movie
ОтветитьI think maybe she is smarter because she knew normal math instead of that common core garbage 🤨
ОтветитьCan someone tell me the actor of the teacher?
I just feel like shes a wholesome women.
Movie name ?
ОтветитьWhat moive is this
ОтветитьCan you tell me 4 squared is?
ОтветитьI could do 57x135 in my head but it would take me at least a minute. I once calculated the buoyancy of a 1 metre diameter balloon filled with helium within 1%, doing it all in my head based on knowledge of math & phys. chem. which I learned in school 50 years ago. I forget the answer, but it's between 600 & 700 grams, ignoring the weight of the balloon. Mental arithmetic was one of the most useful things I learned at school - it helps finding the best deals when shopping.

ОтветитьSmart
ОтветитьCan you be my teacher
Ответитьme: I want matilda
mom: we have matilda at home
matilda at home:
I know it’s 17 too. It bout memorizing your addition ➕ tables
ОтветитьBy the time she got the multiplication ✖️ problem in her head she think of the square root of the number
ОтветитьEverybody know it’s 6, but you suppose to give the others a chance
ОтветитьIf you ask her to solve quadratic formulas and polynomials in her head, it might not happen because of the multi steps; especially systems of equations
ОтветитьI can only solve those problems with paper and pencil ✏️. I can’t do it mentally like her. It it was the 12 times table, I can do them on my head. From 12 to 144
ОтветитьI WATCHED THE FULL MOVIE IT WAS SO COOL!😊
ОтветитьI composed new music for this scene to try and make the scene even better. I sometimes rescore movie scenes just for fun, and I decided to give this one a go. It's up on my channel if anyone is interested.

ОтветитьWhere's Sheldon? 😭
Ответитьy'all what if this was the school Paige went to in young Sheldon (yes I know they have different names but its still a connection.. kind of?)
ОтветитьDid someone fart in the end?
Ответитьwhat movie is this from??
ОтветитьThis reminds me of Matilda..a differnet version
ОтветитьReminds me of my late Dad, who could do similar calculations in his head as fast as a calculator. He said that during WWII, when he was in school, there weren't enough paper/pencils for each kid, so he learned to do it all in his head, but I always thought there was something special about his ability to just snap out the answer to some complicated calculation, without even a pause.
ОтветитьWhat movie?
ОтветитьThis mashes up with young Sheldon PAIGE!
ОтветитьShes so talented but yea she cry when frank leave her ❤ i luv this Video 😂❤😂
Ответить“Now, what does ad nauseam mean?” 😂
ОтветитьWhat Happened At Dubuque ?
ОтветитьReally good movie!!
ОтветитьLove this scene!
ОтветитьWho plays Mary?
ОтветитьIs this true i have trust isssues 💀
Ответить9+9 is 18 bro..
ОтветитьThis looks incredibly stupid, and all the comments are so positive
ОтветитьI remember my son's first grade teacher snagging me in the school lot and asking me to come up with my son to the classroom. She showed me his standardized test scores and said she had never in all her years teaching seen scores like his. She said teachers get a separate report on each student with different information, and my son's were beyond anything in any of the reports she had seen. She showed me my version, which she said was off the charts, and she showed me her version, which gave a more comprehensive overview of my son's class and the national information. My boy is a doctor now, and I still see that teacher quite often and remind her how awesome she is for recognizing his intellect.
ОтветитьThere is nothing in life quite so awful as being a gifted child placed in a mediocre classroom. It would be a bit like being a gifted musician forced to listen to the noises made by the likes of Taylor Swift or some gobby little rap artist. Education should be as individual as the child. A child who is poor at mathematics may well be gifted in English language or history.
Ответитьwhat movie is this, because I've seen clips from it on Facebook, with no context. also, the actress is familiar I know I've seen her in a lot of other movies.
ОтветитьI LOVE IT!
ОтветитьAre there kids who do this? Are they the real geniuses ?
ОтветитьSo paige is really smarter than sheldon.
ОтветитьHa! She doesn't even know what ad nauseum means. What a dummy!
ОтветитьHand clapping all round. Not one comment regarding how the child speaks to the adult. Do not regale me with comebacks about the frustration of genius - I was in the same situation, but bit my lip by dint of a proper respect inculcated by by home upbringing.
ОтветитьThey teachers voice is mad relaxing
Ответитьeither this genius of a young girl needs a better teacher, and i would not be surprised if the girl did better in an iq test than this teacher, or she at least now needs to have extra lessons, which hopefully would see her going to college early, young sheldon style.
