I’m from puerto RICO 🇵🇷 maybe is good idea how prepared when English is not your first language I can be very confident in my native language but not in English either when I know the answer but my nervous 😥 making mess everything

My sister is a dancer, doesn't have anything to do with interviewing, but she once told me that in a dance competition, they'll decide if you'll be the winner in the first 10 seconds, so if you don't impress them at that moment you are bound to lose. I like to have that mentality with interviews too.

When they asked me for questions, I always asked “tell me what you love most about working in this company, what is the thing it makes you so proud”. They melted… Every recruiter and hiring manager love to talk about their company and why is the best company in the word. Let them talk.

Hi Andrew, I found your channel last week to prepare for my interview for today. A lot of your advice really helped but honestly I feel I still messed up my interview because I have a tendency to stutter when I am nervous and with people I haven't met. I also jumble my words when I am presenting my answers. I feel that the interviewer panel was impressed with some of my answers but I feel like I still flopped because of my stuttering and I know you say 38 percent of what they pay attention to is tone. I am not expecting a miracle answer, but I was wondering if you have any advice for people like me who have a tendency to stutter and jumble words during an interview?
