Playing a wholesome “Unpacking” game

I play this game a lot, and I just about died watching them figure out the controls...😂

I got home early from work and was recommended this video... almost immediately i started cleaning my room while watching almost 2 hours in and iv organized and decluttered my room and closet plus made a small clothing donation pile. I feel so satisfied i have 2 days off after today (its 3 am so ig today and the next day off 😅) and i get to enjoy my nice new clutter free room. My cat ( athena, she is a calico just turned 6 in September) loves clean things, clean clothes, clean room, clean me, she is just so happy 😢❤ ( oh i also work at starbucks with my bestfriend/ roomate super fun to see that in the game!! I was putting away my green apron when you saw her apron! Made me so happy)

For such a relaxing game it's quite stressful watching other people organize

The girlfriend wears 50s vintage styles. I should know, I'm inspired by the same time period. The absolute feral desire I got to own her wardrobe when emptying her closet was madness.

I like to paint my nails while watching this and then if I'm still painting them I watch the animal crossing uncut playlist so just to say, I love watching them when I feel sad or when I have noting going on cuz they always make me laugh in one way or another :)

a summary for the woman’s life: the character’s story is rather exciting. pretty sure shes a jewish girl who first moved in with a new zealander (a kiwi), just moving out of her university dorm. before that the character who we play lived with her parents. afterwards she gets with a guy whose just not for her, forcing her to put her diploma tucked away. she moves back in with her parents, gets her own place and finds a girl who she loves. at the end of the story she becomes the mother to a baby and publishes her illustrations into kids books.

throughout the story you can see rock climbing gear and meds. she most likely injured herself as at the end we find a cane. you could tell she got less active throughout the story because everything seemed to disappear. she illustrates a lot and as she ages its clear she took that as a job. the pig is a big part of the story. he stayed with her during the entire game until eventually given to her kid before/after theyre born. the books she wrote and drew were all about her darling pig. also, the little bus represented london and the other little landmarks meant they went to its respective country. another detail is that the song at the end is sung by one of the women representing their journey through life together.

extras about our partner:
-she was most likely our first roommate (the tailor/cosplayer)
-she was presumably of asian roots
-we moved back in with our parents after an incredibly messy break up but then went back to her
-she gave up her childhood bear to their child as well

you can tell how much the characters appreciate eachother with how they blended. we all knew that jock wasnt for her.

lol i love this game its so fun and relaxing and when you get the whole story it's the sweetest story ever! I do have to say it annoyed me so much that I couldn't figure out every single sticker and that no matter how hard I tried there's no way to evenly allign the pots and pans on the stove tops. :/ oh well. I really want them to come out with more story versions of this game.
