I always thought, all French people were from planet zarg..

The designer was really bad at her job.

Not because her ideas were bad, but because she ignored the client who was probably paying quite a lot of money and wanted to do her own thing instead of following the client's instructions.

She was right to offer advice, but a designer's job is to enhance their client's ideas, not to contradict them.
