I have a bachelor's degree in education (Peru) and 19+ teaching experience (6 years teaching online).I only have the ECPE (Michigan ), but I am willing to get any ESL certification needed So, my questions are the following. Ok so then what is the point of having a teaching degree, but you still need the ESL certification? I don't understand. I taught English in the UAE for almost 8 years and I am an Afrikaans speaking teacher. I am however bilingual.

I am considering starting a career as an online ESL teacher. However, I am not eligible to work in the USA or etc. I used to live in Scotland and have more of a British accent.

Do you think there may be any chances with getting a job with one of those companies that you have listed even despite the non-100% requirements fulfilled?

Would appreciate your opinion, will also try and contact the companies directly.

I've lived abroad for two semesters teaching English in person as a volunteer, but I haven't finished my degree.
