will u fail your test for not signalling when u bay park. my instructor tells me i dont have to even when parallel parking
ОтветитьAfter passing my test in the real world I have been massively humbled by tight parking spaces with a wider (and very long bonnet) car. Yesterday I did exactly that "too early" front right manoeuvre and hugely embarrassed myself. You are right every correction I tried to do just made things worse. Staff saw me on CCTV to come and help me park 🤦♂🤦♂. In your opinion is it safer to do the 45 degree reverse method to position into tight spaces (I have very little space between the opposite bays as well as it is a multi-storey like layout)?
ОтветитьPlease make a video on how to do a T and L reverse parking using cones.
ОтветитьIt might be a requirement for the standard driving test and there are obviously some instances where it is necessary to have access to the back but ADIs (if they know what they are about) should be prefacing all references to forward parking by saying that the safest way out of a parking space is always forward and that they only show/teach forward parking because it is demanded by the DVSA. The associated dangers in parking areas, for example at supermarkets, is the movement of pedestrians and vehicles reversing out of parking bays.
ОтветитьGreat teacher.
I have the road test next.
I am feeling positive after watching your video.
I am trying my best to do bay parking both reverse and forward and I am unable to do it. Most of the times I am on the line. Unable to judge when to turn or what could be my reference point
ОтветитьYou are the bessssttt instructor on this planet 😊 I am a slow learner and I have learned a lot from you which helped me so much.. I am almost in my 40s and just starting to learn to drive so I am grateful for how you presented and explain everything. God bless you ❤
ОтветитьFor me, reverse parking is safer than forward parking
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьIght boys I got my test in two weeks last one I failed hope this time I pass 🤦♂️
Ответитьre: rule 3, do you get penalised if you have to make multiple moves to line up perfectly? I always find practicing in my car that trying to forward bay park my front end always clips the bay next to the one I'm turning in to so I'm asking do you HAVE to do it all in one turn or will an examiner have some kind of leniance?
ОтветитьYou always mention a link in the top right of the screen but I've not seen one yet. I find this a little strange.
ОтветитьIf your wondering ! I’m from Middle East and passed ! Just Watch all the videos
ОтветитьPassed my test at the 2nd attempt today. Your videos were some of the first I started watching a couple of months ago. Very helpful, thanks
ОтветитьRichard is on my list of channels to watch whenever I have to learn about driving. Passed my test in June and since then I've been learning even more than what I could've imagined and having fun in the meantime and learning a lot. The video really cleared some of my problems with forward bay parking
ОтветитьThank you Richard, I now know to steer later rather early into the bay!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this video. It's very helpful.
ОтветитьQuestion, if I'm forward bay parking into a space on the left and I have to move across into the right lane to create the space for my turning circle, should I indicate right first to move across into the right lane, then indicate left to swing into the bay on the left. Or should I just indicate left and then move across the right lane before parking on the left?
Many thanks for your videos, they are really helpful.
I passed my test a few months ago but today I had to get into a really tight space and completely fked it. Kinda lost my confidence a bit but this video has helped. I'll remember the steer too late rule for tight spaces in the future!
ОтветитьHi,
Can you please make it a bit more clear that when we do bay parking how much I should turn the steering and how Much I turn the steering back to straight the car wheel.??
Please make a video as soon as possible coz I'm booking my test thanks 😊
I'm a bit confused - if my ford focus has 11m turning radius, is that mean that I must have at least 5.5m wide road (parking lane) to properly park front into bay (off course, with moving maximum to opposite side). In other words, if free lane between parking spot is lower than 5.5m, does it mean that I can't park in front with my car? Thanks
ОтветитьThank you so much 😊 I’m going to try this one ☝️😃🙏
ОтветитьPlease post a video about Colchester's magic round about and semi magic round abouts
ОтветитьThanks a lot
ОтветитьThank you Richard for taking time to create such quality videos. I have been watching your videos for over a year and half now. AND I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST ON 14/01/22 FIRST ATTEMPT. thank you so much
ОтветитьYou've no idea how this "left knee" thing has helped me! I've used this every time since I saw this video a few days ago, and this absolutely works for me! I passed my test a month ago, but I did not do lessons in the car I'm driving right now. So while I was able to park well in my instructor's car, I could not do the same in my own one. But I have improved a ton by using what you say in this video - thank you! 😅
ОтветитьThanks for making this video, helped me out a lot with parking! 😎
ОтветитьJust about to resit my prac test next week and I need to work a few of the kinks out of these maneuvers. Cheers mate. Massive help.
Ответитьthat part when the cars started to show up non stop, outta nowhere xDDD thanks richard as usual
ОтветитьHi, just wondering what the tricks are to forward parking on the left.
As I understand on the test reversing can be either left or right but forward is always on the right, but obviously once I pass supermarket car parks have bays on both sides and I may want to drive in to leave easy access to the boot, rather than reverse in.
Really useful videos , wish you was my instructor
Ответитьyour videos have been invaluable for me!!! i've taken forever to get my license because driving with my parents has been so stressful and completely not useful-- egging me on to 'go for it' without actually going through what you expect to see and plan for. THANK YOU! U SEEM LIKE A GENUINELY GOOD DUDE AND YOU'VE HELPED ME SO MUCH <<3333
ОтветитьParking in an empty car park is "all good". But how do you park in between 2 cars? unfortunately I spend at least 5 minutes. A nightmare for me. please help me Richard. I always feel like I am going to hit one of the cars as for some reason I steer too much close to one of them.
ОтветитьI passed my test 9 years ago, and I’m still picking up tips from these videos!!
ОтветитьIs it ok to reverse and correct yourself when turning in too late in the test? Thanks
ОтветитьHiya, I just passed my practical test! And just wanna say thanks for your videos, they’ve helped me a lot. Very simple and straight to the point. Keep it up and God bless😊
ОтветитьThanks another really good tutorial. Not a new driver, but still find I can pick up some really good tips from your videos. Also helps my car is almost identical (even the colour!).
ОтветитьVery good videos mate, I'm feeling more confident
ОтветитьYour video is very helpful as always 👍 Just passed the test at first attempt today 😄Thanks for your excellent job.
ОтветитьThe knee advice hasn't helped my shorta**e
ОтветитьHad to comment and subscribe. Thanks!
ОтветитьI passed last month and have been watching all these vids because my car is so different to my instructors and its making me lack confidence and become a nervous driver
ОтветитьThis is amazing, I had my driver's license for 3 years now. Got a new car that's bigger than the one I used to drive and here I am watching your videos. Thank you so much for doing this.
ОтветитьTitle says any car but many references through the video require adjustment for specific models
ОтветитьI love your video they are very simple and clear for both starters or semi-starters to understand. Thanks for uploading video. 🙏
ОтветитьThanks so much. This was soo helpful. Do you have any videos on dual carriage way?
ОтветитьI passed my test today first time! Honestly could not have done it without your amazing videos! Thank you too too much!
ОтветитьMy test will be 12 august.. your videos help me a lot ♥️♥️♥️♥️
