Halo: The TV Series - Season 1 Review

IGN sold out long ago. Always leaning towards “the message” of the msm. This show was such a huge disappointment and a joke!!! The writers of the show say they didn’t want to be “limited” by the game and disregarded it entirely. IGN would support this blasphemy even if master chief wore a purple amour core with a 118.

The story is bit inconsistent comparing to the games. John wears the upgraded suit, that first appeared in halo 2, but at the same time the series is taking place still on Reach, before the events from the halo 1.

Ha needs a seperate series. Noble Six needs a series...and they need to redo Season 1 😂

This show is absolute dogshit and I’m not surprised considering 343 and Kiki Wolfkill were in charge of it. What a waste of money and a slap in the face of fans. Same goes for every post-bungie Halo except for Halo Wars 2.

Forward Unto Dawn had a much better storytelling narrative

They had the right ingredients to make it great and they blew it. Making a "Silver timeline" is heresy.
They could've created stories on the other halo rings. They are a grand total of 18 Halo rings. They couldve made story on at least one, and still kept the show title

Has anyone noticed how the actor who plays Miranda Keyes looks like a black version of Princess Leia and even has a similar hairstyle? Wouldn't surprise me if she lands the role in the next woke Star Wars sequel. Tbh it wouldn't actually bother me because it would be a far better option than that creepy cgi rendition at the end of Rogue One but Padme would have had a hard time explaining that one to Anakin if she had lived!

The Mandalorian didn't show his face for two entire seasons and everyone loved it.

I'll give it a 7/10 if they release a bonus introducing Sarge saying "No way you dragging me into this!" before blowing his brains out

I've just finished watching brilliant I'm really impressed 10/10 for me

I'm actually enjoying the series I've never played the game except the 5 so it seems ok to me

Story from the game cutscenes are so much better than the tv show by a long way

Also this is about on par with the DOOM movie adaption in term's of quality and faithfulness

7 out of 10? Here’s my real answer 0 out of 10 may seem extreme but you know what it is spot on

Spaceships, time travel, synthetic food, cloning, enhanced physical abilities..........and still using bullets. Why didn't these dumb producers learn anything from Star Wars? Starship Troopers is another example of futuristic failure.

People still expect ign to have a real rating their sellouts why even come here for information

The point isn't to make old fans happy it's to bring more new fans ... most people haven't played the game so making a show that has a story that works for TV is a better way to cater to new fans

34 min into 1st ep, a blatant Mass Effect easter egg as background voice calls out commander shepard at a sjillian outpost.
