I want to start in English lower league, but my pc is slow and I still want to scout the best Young players. What should I select in the database?

My computer is slow, but on my new save today, I've loaded every European and Oceanian player database. I've made Singapore playable because I want to start as late as possible (June 30, 2022). The only disadvantage: As I'm also NZ's manager, the World Cup qualification is left to chance.

How do you change the managerial attributes? Do you click or drag or use arrows or what?

Is it possible to start a game but not have all the transfers for the 1st window completed? Its annoying that so many youth players are already on season long loans and players signed in january are already at the club at the start of preseason

But how do you Simulate? The normal Way or a simulation like in Fifa with a calendar?

What about if your doing a prem save and you want to to be able to get wonderkids in brazil, etc. My newcastle save has loads of leagues loading and is now so slow taking about 10 mins between each continue sometimes. I have a brand new high speed laptop and its still only like half a star speed!!!

New to the game and starting with international management. In that case, I can keep my league loading to a minimum and use the player load options to make sure I can find all the guys eligible to represent my country - am I understanding that right?

So funny hearing you talking about a database with a max. of 55k players.
I'm actually loading a new file with 374k players right now!

From the US and about 15 years ago wised up to how great football is. Playing FM for the first time since v14, retired and actually have time to play ;) Was struggling with how to setup my save for lower league England and my Dag & Red game. Your video was massively helpful in what leagues to load, players to include from non-loaded leagues, and my manager skill set. With FM there are loads of opinions on how to do things and that's to be expected. At least with your guidelines I am confident I will be starting from a good place. Thank you very much.

I always load almost every top division in Europe and South America even though I play on a laptop, my laptop should struggle as much as I do playing the game

I usually just select every single nation and have each nations lowest league available and on the largest database

What would you suggest would be the lowest star rating for the estimated game speed so that the game runs smoothly.

Only thing you forgot is that you can add playable leagues to view only and you can change it if you want play in that league in future.

Can you add a vid about changing the league's during a save? As you move up the rungs, what is the best way to manage the detail so it is appropriate.

What about league loading for journeyman saves?

I heard adding arabic countries, usa and china helps you load off expensive players

Personally, I do not prefer to forceload players but add more leagues. After some time, you can deselect leagues again in case your save game slows down too much. But hey, that’s just me (feeding the algorithm ;) )

I must say, I completely disagree with your setup for loading leagues, I would have much more leagues loaded. This does not provide for a very realistic long-term save game. I would load the majority of nations top divisions as playable to ensure realism of continental competitions, as well as better newgen generation. Your setup is much more tailored to those with poor processing power, or who simply want ultra-quick processing.

What's with the "load but don't allow managing" option? Is it still there? Does that fully simulate the leagues with slightly less load because you're not going to take them over? Might as well ask and feed the comment algorithm with a real question!
