back here for a random douse of nostalgia
ОтветитьThis is so nostalgic,
I remember watching this with my sister when I was 11 how simple life was back then, I hope you carry on with minecraft Paul you have a serious gift , warm wishes
Cannot believe its been 11 years...
ОтветитьI know you've heard this before, but you were a huge part of my childhood! I started watching you when I was nine. My brother got tired of me constantly asking for help in Minecraft, and he turned me over to this video. This series along with Stampy and MC Spotlight were what got me obsessed back in the day. Now I'm burnt out on Minecraft, despite not playing for months. I've come back to your channel for inspiration. So that I can play Minecraft the way I did almost ten years ago. Thank you so much for teaching me how to play one of my favorite video games!
ОтветитьDon’t know if this will ever be seen, especially by Paul, but I remember back when these were first coming out my whole family, meaning my mom dad and sister would watch this let’s play and it was and still is an amazing memory. I’ll always look back on these early tutorials with fondness.
ОтветитьI just had to come back and comment on this. This series has helped me so much. Some of the stuff I learned from this series I still use to this day. Its amazing that you learned me so much about the game. Also this guide helped me out when I started back in like 2011/2012... I remember waiting for the new episodes every few days. Also I am Dutch and back when I was like 11/12 my English was terrible. Understood most things but also some things where very difficult. But your tutorials are very slowpaced and its amazing.
Now when you watch a lets play/tutorial guide whatever its episide 4 and they have full netherrite, 6 beacons and are about to start on their 3rd mega base project. Where as you had just found iron. Hahaha. This lets play will always have special place in my memory. (I have recently rewached some of the series and I thought this whould be the best video to comment on)
You are truly the goat of minecraft tutorial for me. Thank you :)
i remember little from my childhood, but one thing that always stuck was when i first discovered minecraft, as well as this series. i remember how suddenly i had an outlet for my creativity. minecraft became such a huge part of my life as a kid. i bonded with friends by playing on servers. im so glad i discovered this series, it literally shaped my childhood (to an extent)
Ответить2023.
hello from future!
reading these comments got me crying damn yall <3
ОтветитьThis video series taught me how to play Minecraft, and even though there have been dozens of updates since this was posted, I still think it’s a great place for newbies to start
ОтветитьI allways remember this series, I was so young when I watched it 😅
Ответить11 years feels so long ago :( that you for introducing me to minecraft <3

Ответить2023 here, wow what a throwback. This is the tutorial that brought me into Minecraft and thank god it did. Love the content PSJ!
Ответить11 years and counting.. :)
ОтветитьIt does fly doesn’t it? 11 years old in a tent in my dad’s old garden. I didn’t have Minecraft but my brother had told me about it. This! This is where it all started. Thank you again Paul
ОтветитьWhat I would give to go back to these days… now it’s 55 hours a week and stress lol. This made my childhood man you have no idea the impact you’ve made on the world.
ОтветитьThis man is what made me get into this game 11 years ago! Thank you Paul! I hope all is well if you are reading this

This is the video that introduced me to minecraft. Stumbling across this channel again was such a nostalgic throwback.
ОтветитьThank you for helping me play Minecraft
ОтветитьWatched this ages ago when I first bought minecraft. I don't think I would still be playing had this video series not explained things so easily. Thanks for the tutorials dude. Cheers
ОтветитьI was 11. I got the game as a gift because I thought it would be fun. This was the first video I ever watched on the game and I still quote it to this day when I start a new world with creating my “hidey hole” on the first night just because it was habit. I’m 22 now and watching this just flooded me with so many memories I forgot about. Thank you for all those great years of growing up. You really made us all fall in love with the game.

Ответитьanybody else miss paul’s minecraft tutorial videos? (if so your welcome to comment and/or like but neither are required)
Ответить11 YEARS! Oho! I'm almost 28 now. This was my first experience with Minecraft. I never even played the game until years later tbh, aside from a few hours here and there before getting confused. But it was cool to just watch! Amazing how Mc has gone since then.
Ответить2023. Memories
ОтветитьEverything changed. It's been 12 years, and now 1.20. Minecraft has gone through a lot of changes. Now, what's next?
ОтветитьMore than 11 years later, thank you for introducing me to Minecraft. It's been a blast, and I've met my best friend through this game and we now live together! Thank you for showing me how to survive my first night! <3 I hope you and your family are well
ОтветитьI was 12 when I watched this and learned how to play from you
ОтветитьThe nostalgia that this video and this channel give me is mindblowing. The funny thing is, rewatching this series has made me realize that I still do most of these things even today, over 11 years later. From hidey holes to cozy cottages, it's all thanks to you. Without you, I don't think I would have ever gotten into video games, and my childhood would not be the same. Thank you, Paul, for introducing me and millions of others to Minecraft and, to some extent, our childhoods.
ОтветитьThis is the guy who introduced me to minecraft. Along with the minecraft books
ОтветитьI knoe you definitely dont read comments on an 11 year old video, but this series and game were such a huge part of my child, thank you Paul
Ответить8 years later, still an amazing tutorial. Thank you for teaching me how to play this legendary game, Paul. - Harvey.
ОтветитьWhen I first watched Paul, I said to myself 'this guy is a total noob'. But now, I look at Paul in a different way. Thanks for all the fond memories, Paul! And I think I'm speaking for the whole community here!
Ответитьi feel the nostalgia when i was in 9 or 10 years old that time, thank god i came back to watching it again 😊
ОтветитьAfter years of searching. I’ve finally found it.
ОтветитьMan, I am not going to lie I still come back to these old videos just to remember where I and most of us have started Thanks Paul and you came so far. You Deserve so much more.
ОтветитьThis was the start of my Minecraft journey. The nostalgia hits hard.
Ответить考古
ОтветитьBro this was my childhood i first found out your channel when i was like 6-7 like thats crazy
ОтветитьI started playing between jungles and horses being added but have never killed the ender dragon in SSP. Would always get off track or go back to multiplayer. I'm going back and beating each version starting at 1.0 and was brought right back to these videos. Almost ready for 1.1 now.
ОтветитьI love you man. Thank you.
ОтветитьI still describe my first time playing Minecraft as running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I literally just ran around the forest punching random animals until my hunger ran out. thanks to these tutorials I started my Minecraft journey properly and I still play today!
