Hey, I run cat, but I did redo my muffler to a magnaflow. Still testing but as of 1st tank if gas, driving alot of curvy mountain roads, I still got and extra 21 extra miles per tank. It woke up throttle response alot...I'm pretty happy

YES IT DOES! ABOUT 3 MPG AND MORE POWER BETTER! CATS ARE RESTRICTIVE NO DOUBT. I GUTTED 2 RECENTLY BECAUSE OF A RICH CONDITION MELT DOWN AND THE DIFFERENCE IS SIGNIFICANT! WHAT'S MORE IS THAT IT CAME WITHIN 2 HYDROCARBONS OF PASSING THE CALIFORNIA SMOG TEST WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THE CATS! HAD I OUT MORE FUEL IN THE TRUCK ( IT WAS ALMOST EMPTY WHEN TESTED) OR PREMIUM, IT WOULD HAVE PASSED MAKING THE UNSANE CALIFORNIA EMISSION STANDARDS LOOK LIKE A JOKE! THE MECHANICAL CONDITION OF YOUR ENGINE, HOW WELL IT'S MAINTAINED AND THE ACCURACY OF YOUR ENGINE MANAGEMENT HAVE MORE TO DO WITH EMISSIONS THAN CATS DO. CATS ARE AFTER THE ENGINE COMBUSTION PROCESS. A BAND AID IF YOU WILL. TAKING CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT IS A GOOD THING! HOW THE GOVERNMENT AND AUTO INDUSTRY GO ABOUT IT IS NOT! Thank you for your information I recently bought a 95 Ranger at auction and have done quite a bit of work to it. It gets very good gas mileage but lacks and Power I've done everything but the cat and O2 sensors. It does not seem to have enough exhaust coming out not sure so I cut the muffler off thanking the cat was plugging up and found the factory Muffler was actually plugging. Have you ever Experience a muffler plugging up? Thank you for your video.
