Hi Guys, happy Friday! Hope this is of some use, I found this config really easy once I was shown how to do it, lots of fun too :D Have a great weekend! If you came here for flaps, hope you weren’t too disappointed 😄 Claire 🌿🐻
ОтветитьHmm that tarp setup reminds me of something…..
Ответитьtarp size?
ОтветитьGood explanation Claire. I’m going to try that 😊
ОтветитьSpot on, thank you for this. Showing it in an easy to follow video. Guess what I'll be doing on my next camp out? 👍👍👍
ОтветитьBuy a shovel saves you damaging you're tarp
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰
ОтветитьOMG thank you so much for this! Its my first time camping with friends and I wanted to go for lightweight tents or tarp and this helped so muchhhh <3 tysm again!
ОтветитьU make it look so easy. I’ve watched 109 Chanel’s still can’t figure out how I put the back guy line and attach it to a trekking pole and not a tree. Great vid m8.
ОтветитьIf you moved the back pegs in a bit you'd be able to pull up the back part more...
ОтветитьLove it, thank you
ОтветитьNice clear instructions, thanks! 😊 I did a test pitch this way yesterday, got it sorted after a bit of faffing about! 😊
ОтветитьYour video the best and easiest I’ve seen by a very long way as how to set up a tarp tent thanks
ОтветитьI love her British accent when she says, "Nice and tight." 🤗
ОтветитьSome people on YT faff around for a good 15 minutes showing this. Very well done! 😊
ОтветитьA wise old Red Indian Chief once said, “make sure the flaps on your wigwam never wobble.” Wise words indeed!
ОтветитьTarp Origami.
ОтветитьSupposing I don't have trekking poles and had to use a stick, how long should it be approximately?
ОтветитьYou only had to ask me and I would’ve sorted your flaps out for you
ОтветитьSort your flaps out had me laughing 😂
ОтветитьA tarp pitch can be the best 4 season shelter.
It has to go tight to the ground on all sides and have a wood stove inside if it is going to be any good I a winter blizzard. The whole outfit cannot weigh more than 4 lbs. if backpackers are going to use it. A 10’x10’ tarp only needs to be pegged on the 4 corners with as many pegs as it takes to be secure in any wind. No grommets are needed. It has space for 2 cooking or 4 sleeping. The chimney can serve as a corner pole. All sides can be raised forming an umbrella to cool off, heat from the stove or summer sun.
Why do you fold the corners in instead of pegging to the corner. I can't see an advantage? 😊
Ответить"Minha linda" aventureira!!! 😍😍
ОтветитьYaaaay!😂 came for the tarp, remained for da gurl!
Ответить"Sort out you Flaps" - Of course that worked.
Ответитьlove it! took me 5 lengthy vids of umclear explanations before i found yours and hou explain it really lear 2 minutes. Thanks and kudos to you!
ОтветитьI had seen this once before but your example was less confusing. Are you using a 10x10 square tarp? How high do you set your trekking pole?
ОтветитьI'd sort her flaps out
ОтветитьThat's brilliant and at less than 3 mins lovely 🙏🙏
ОтветитьTarps are excellent, so versatile 😊
ОтветитьI don't see the point of using a cumbersome pole which takes up space in your tent when you have a load of trees around, a perfectly good hook point on top which you can put paracord through and chuck over a tree branch.
ОтветитьGreat tarp setup this one I use it allot when you can`t rig up a ridgeline. You can create a vestibule by adjusting the flaps and adding two sticks either side of the door way..
ОтветитьI often wonder if having an open groundsheet puts you more at risk of creatures wandering in to your tent. Especially if you are wild camping. Foxes, rodents and snakes might be more likely to make themselves at home. Has anyone got any insights into this?
Ответитьthanks for sharing .. nice setup.
ОтветитьExcellent, well explained demo
ОтветитьI love this tarp.
Ответитьabout what size tap do you want to use for this?
ОтветитьThanks for doing it slowly and clearly
ОтветитьSave time for making me a sandwich
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьProbably the worst case of attention seeking i have ever seen on YT
ОтветитьI LOVE YOU!!!
ОтветитьLoved that! Nice and easy to follow 👌
ОтветитьReally well presented 👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьNicely presented 👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьNice setup 🦊👍🏼
ОтветитьHi. This is such a cool set up! I've got a rectangular decathlon forclaz 900. Does it work with a rectangular tarp? I had a little go just now, but couldn't put the middle up - maybe I laid it out too tight? It was quite dark though so who knows what I tried!
ОтветитьOpen your flaps!!... Lol. Your a white dark horse.
ОтветитьWonder Woman
